@nutty44nate Hmmm ..... I guess there are a couple of photos three and a half minutes into it that have a tropical look to them (plus a polar bear at 8:39). Still, the overwhelming majority look like Lanz's home state of Washington.

Variations are when the original idea, or theme, is repeated in an altered form, whether altered via melodic or rhythmic or harmonic interpretation. It's not called an actual canon because you have to have multiple 'voices' playing, which are slightly different and over the top of the other for it to be canonic. You can hear it really well in the violin sections of Orchestral interpretations of Pachabel's canon.

A remix combines pre-recorded samples of the original song.

As one of those people who is annoyed by the original Canon but love variations of it, this is DEFINITELY one of my favorite songs by DL :) good pictures too! just as a suggestion, maybe for parts that are louder or faster you could have pictures with more action, such as 3:48 or 4:02 you could have pictures with larger waves to go with the grander part of the song? just a thought :) but awesome collection anyway :)

PS- 4:21 and 6:30 are amazingly hard with the 16th notes >.< i just got the book

I give you right about the transition thing with the pictures, just that this video i made it from very first time i ever played with a video editor, that should be like almost 3 years ago (i had other channel 3 years before where i had this videos).. you can see the difference in my latest videos. @bedmonkey94 It's actually very easy if you have good finger control. A good finger strengthening exercise is something by a composer called Hanon. Just search Hanon and you should find a good demonstration.
