  • @Starwars1442 Indeed it does.

  • @UVpirate Agreed

  • i remember everything, your video of you flipping out, and then you uploading a video hours later crying tears of joy, keep it up!

  • @BeyondLame Quite a ride. ;)

  • I've been off pot for about 7 months I never considered myself addicted I quit cold turkey the day I signed up for the army and didn't smoke for 4 years then I started again when I got out but in June I quit again I had no withdrawal the problem for me is I love getting high it's not a physical craving for it I just love the taste and the whole experience around it rolling a joint taking a bong hit those kind of things I just loved being relaxed too but it is less stressful not smoking

  • congrats on hitting 11 months! my husband is hitting 6 years on the 29th of this month. He stopped the day I went into labor with my son.

  • @angelface14363703 wow! That is a huge mark,congrats to him :)

  • @angelface14363703 Thanks. Congrats to him. One of the few people I've heard of recently who was willing to give something up to do whats right by their child.

  • @gfreakj even to this day he says its hard sometime when hes stressing. But he just looks at our 2 kids and says its just not worth it. He always tells people that are trying to quit that the road is never easy but you just have to push on and stay strong.

  • @angelface14363703 He's right. We have to learn that nothing good comes easy. It's a cliche but is completely true. Hard work and resistance to giving in to temptation to do whats easy rather then whats right and good are the only ways to grow and become the people we want to be.

  • To break the physical need for the substance ( weed in this case ) is often less of a challenge than breaking the habits around the addiction.

This is why many people fail.

They shake the need for the addiction but then get back in the rut.

  • @NefariousVirtuoso88 The rut still tempts me but I can't imagine having to start this all over again so I resist.

  • right on man!!iv'e been sober off alcohol for almost a month and tobacco for 3 months going to be 4 months on the 17th.

  • @socalhippie420 Congratulations. Big accomplishment.

  • Congrats, Garrett!!!

  • @jepst41 Thanks.

  • Congrats, you wanna get high?

  • @TheBrain257 Thanks. Uuuhhhh...

  • That's awesome! Keep it up!! It's great to see someone willing to say, hey! It's still a temptation but I -choose- to say no! Being honest to yourself and still working at it is an accomplishment of it's own.

  • @OlivianOpal Thank you. Being open and honest about urges helps a lot.

  • At first,I thought you said,"Still happy to get messages from people, helping them get out the toilet" or something LOL. And,idk maybe he was more affected lol hahaha,Lenny maryJ freak! haha :P

  • Standing in your truth...looove it!!!! So proud of you...thanks for taking us along on this journey!!!

  • @sdaryab Thank you for coming along.

  • dude what happen to that cool yellow hat you was wearing lol

  • @MRRIPTHEJACKER2 It'll be making another appearance soon.

  • Proud of you bro. Keep it up!

  • @ChrisHCollier Thanks.

  • I think it's great that you make these videos as a reminder for yourself and others :) I know it's not easy, but as long as you stay focused on what you really want out of life, it makes things a little easier :)

  • @WolverinaWorld Indeed it does. Thanks.

  • Hey man just what i needed to hear! Im 27 days off it and doing better than i thought possible. My temper issues are being dealt with too. No excuses for me anymore. Good on you man.

  • @TheDannyboy1968 Glad to hear you're doing so well. Congrats.

  • Hey Garret have you ever heard of James Allen?

All of his books are outstanding, As a Man Thinketh is the "classic" though, even though they're are all classics.

If you haven't read him before, I implore you to look into him.

  • @Coldshot89 I'll check him out. Thanks.

  • Lenny broke his streak of not drinking out of the toilet.

  • @hunkatiel LOL.

  • (no offence)

  • Weed-smokers are fucking stupid too, aren't they?

  • @J0k3r4U Dude, just because, you say no offence(offense) doesn't make it non-offensive. he is try to stay sober and stuff,he doesn't need attacks to make him feel bad. just saying is all. Not trying to be rude, just honest. God bless :)

  • @Justericpersonal Guy I don't know how you misunderstood what I said so badly but clearly you're confused about it...

  • @J0k3r4U I was speaking of your comment where you said pot smokers were stupid which is rude because,he was clearly saying in this video that he used to smoke pot and used to be addicted so,I felt it looked in THAT comment you were attacking him. sorry,if I misunderstood but,I don't think I misunderstood that comment, the other ones were nice though yes. That other, not so much. God bless

  • @Justericpersonal No, he SAID it made him more stupid, or something like that.

  • @J0k3r4U and I think so generally, not as a rule. So I'm just being honest...

  • @J0k3r4U Ok,well I am sorry if you felt attacked but,it just came off that way to me I guess. God bless :)

  • @J0k3r4U I don't think they're stupid. They have a problem just like we all do. Imperfect humans.

  • @gfreakj I don't mean they're stupid cause they have a problem. I mean the weed makes them giggle like morons and a lot of them are usually shallow and ONLY talk about weed...

  • @J0k3r4U Ah yes I agree with that. It doesn't have a positive impact on their intellect that's for sure.

  • Oh yeah I can totally relate. I have a smoking problem too. I stopped for 1 year, then started again, then stopped for 4 months, then started again, then stopped for 1 year, then stopped.. it's like a constant battle. In the end I realized something that helped me in life in general. Nothing is ever enough. Drugs, Sex, alcohol.. we keep doing the things we do because we think it'll make us happy, and it's never enough. Well enough is enough and it's been 3 weeks, now I know why I stopped.

  • @snyper182000 Glad to hear it. I hope it works out for you this time. If I can help let me know.

  • @gfreakj sure man I mean it. I'm glad to see you're more joyful too...

  • @J0k3r4U It's a beautiful thing.

  • You have the makings if greatness. I hope you continue to move toward your full potential...

  • @J0k3r4U Thank you for that. Very nice of you to say.

  • lol I love watching your vids. You're so fucking nuts.

  • @snyper182000 Thanks. That will persist. The nuttiness that is.

  • Eleven months is a great accomplishment. October 26th was the last time for me. Almost 3 months. I'm real tempted. I actually rolled a joint for my brother today. But wasn't even tempted to smoke it. Can't wait for you to be 1 year. You give me hope brother. Stayin sober with you. Peace.

  • @papaschuette Glad to bring you some hope. It's great that you can be around it and not be tempted. I would be which is why I stay away from it. Congrats on your progress.

  • Almost 1 year! Good for you gfreakj; glad that you choose a path that is more positive both spiritually, mentally and physically.

  • @XmnMetal Thanks. I am too.

  • Wiiii Woooo!!! By the way, it wasn't me that said it! Congrats on another month!

  • @Carrie3570 Thanks Carrie.

  • Good for you man. Keep your life the way you want it!

  • @filthyagent36 Thanks.

  • man, good to hear.. all signs point to quitting in my life right now, but for some reason im having trouble going even a day w/o it.. i quit cigs 6 months ago, now this is the next step! i found your channel through your vids on quitting. i guess i just have to want it badly enough.. n e way thanks for responding to my last comment.

  • @julianofsatown It took me a while to work up to quitting. I was getting sick of it for a couple years before i stopped. Be patient with yourself.

  • great.

  • @Seouldrift7 Thanks.

  • Now are a beautiful person, which is soooo much nicer than that mean, nasty person you used to be..lol.

  • @zookeeper220 I think you MUST have me confused with some other angry asshole. ;)

  • good for you. we mourn for a fallen brother.

  • @djgrooveline Thanks./ ;)

  • I did not know that you are still feeling the grip of addiction. I know this is gonna sound stupid. I wonder if you have a weak immune system. If you do & you build up your immune system, I wonder if that would lower your desire for a high. Would be a interesting experiment.

  • @captianusa

    whaaa, ima research this

  • @julianofsatown

Whats the matter, afraid its gonna have a negative effect on your drug business?

  • @captianusa I am never sick. Ever. So I'd say my immune system is fine.

  • @gfreakj

Good, This rules out needing more vitamins.

  • @captianusa I think it's just the old devil trying to keep me from going in the direction God has me going.

  • @gfreakj

    Cant argue with that.

  • @gfreakj welcome

  • You feel good you beat something that had a hold on you?

  • @Tanarus20 Most definitely. Happy to be living a new life.
