There has never been a 'STAB' version, it's slap actually. This was their first version, now its 'Leave' because this version couldn't be played on the radio because too many people thought it was 'STAB' not 'SLAP'.

It think it's really obvious that it's 'SLAP'. Where on earth did they get 'STAB' from?

I read in the papers that on the cd version it's "Stab". Because of the controverse about recent stabbings it was deemed inapropriate to sing "Stab" so for the video it was changed to "Leave". In some versions as well they sing "Slap" BUT it was "Stab" on the original cd release.
