Im looking for a Higher Gain Amp than Marshall... That still has a really 80s - Modern tone. ( Ill buy a EQ Pedal to scoop mids ) But would orange amps be a good choice?

@MrCherryKush ... I run a Rockerverb 100 MKII w/ EL34's pushing 1 V30 4x12 cab and (occasionally)MXR M108 stomp EQ scooped...and this is my take. It def has a Brit tone, but somewaht dark too. Around and rite past 7 on the volume is where the "meat" is..but very NICE at any level really. I believe you can easily produce both an 80's metal Marshall tone and a bit of a modern sound with the Rockerverb/EQ combo...but sounds awesome w/o EQ.
