Buddhism is not contrary to any religion, it is a philosophy, so I can accept it as a truth as well as I accept truth from any religion that practices Love and Peace

Meaning of this chant: Have a state of mind like a lotus.

Lotus plants thrive in dirty muck, but ultimately the lotus flowers blossom out of the mud with amazingly grace.

All humans are born in environment full of greed, anger, ignorance and arrogance, just like dirty muck. Our mind being contaminated with these unhealthy elements as we grow up, which lead to unhappiness. Hence Buddha want us to throw away the roots of all these unhappiness so that we can blossom like the lotus flower.

Since this chanting makes my mind so peacefull...Thank you for upload of this beautifull chanting...I was saying this chanting for many times when I visited "Nepal" as well as "Bhutan" recently in July - August 2011...Once again thank you....Namaste...I love Buddha...
