Tranersunt: when Rob said " i can't even look her in the eye it's embarrassing" he was talking about the description about the Edward character. "too beautiful" Rob does not think of himself as "too beautiful" which is why he was too embarrass to look a KS in case KS is thinking that he(Rob) was thinking of himself "too beautiful to look at". In other words---he did not want to appear conceited---to KS.
