@BuffySlayer6001 He probably play a Japanese version of Emerald then migrated to a Japanese Diamond/Pearl then maybe use Wi-Fi to get that Rayquaza to an English Version of Diamond/Pearl/Platinum.

The only shinys I ever caught LEGIT was Rayquaza on Emerald and Quagsire on Heart Gold. Quagsires a Beast.
