It's sung in the english-japanese version because they are japanese people that mixed their own songs in american music. In the dubbed anime, they speak in all english, which is weird because its suppose to be americans coming to japan. Even at one point Koyuki is like "You guys are american!?" and he also says "My english isn't that good" in english. So it was weird watching dubbed.
