This songs lyrics don't really represent gatsu that well. If people weren't very well versed with this series, they'd think of gatsu as a sad guy that cries a lot or is sad and gatsu is not a sad person.

I remember reading somewhere that Fist of the North Star influenced Kentaro Miura, the author of Berserk. While the anime is good, it pales in comparison to the manga. It's an older anime series (~15 years old), but the good news is that there is a new Berserk anime or OVA series in production. Check out the trailers for it.

I wouldn't say he's a superman remember the Armor can kill him as well as his enemy, also the only things that could make him a "Superman" is the armor, andpossibly dragon slayer. if it had a spiecal abilty, then Dragon slayer other than that and maybe his unreal strenght and luck.

What made Guts cool was he was just a human going against impossible odds. The new armor makes him boring and uninteresting. Sure he COULD die from it, but we know he wont, hes the protagonist after all. I've stopped reading the manga because of this, its just so uninteresting now.

@beeramoto The anime will not comeback, I have read the manga and seen the anime. It can not be possible, because when they did the anime they left out too many characters that had an important role in the story. Here is three of them: the elf Puck, The Bakiraka leader And the most important one that is the whole reason why Guts and Caska survived the eclopse, the Skull Knight.

It was a bad move too leave him out when he is the reason they survived, but now they are making 3 movies of Berserk.

I've read all the manga as well, and I don't see Puck as being such a pivotal character to include in an anime(he's simply comic relief anyway...) Plus the Skull Knight could pop in and save Gutts and Casca directly after the last anime episode for his intro.

And dont forget that puck actually saved(or maybe just helped) Guts sometimes in the manga.
