  • Nice job, looking good. I have just finished my Trollblood battle group, I really struggled with madraks skin.. Could not get it right.

I have upped a couple of videos showing them off.

Keep up the content, enjoying your vids,

Going through your terrain back catalogue and going around coffee shops stealing the stir sticks ;)

  • Great Video. I recently purchased the Trollblood battlebox.....so your post is most welcome.

  • Awesome! Welcome new troll player! They look very nice, I like how you pained the chickens on the Impaler! And the bases look great as well. I hope you found out how to paint the eyes like in the book. Keep it up!

  • Love your trolls. Look great! NQ #16 has a great article on painting the Trolls. If you don't have it check it out.

  • You'll have fun with that critical slam on the Impalers.

  • trolls rule!!!!! finaly the trolls are getting the face time they deserve. love the tartan

  • Really cool. I haven't seen many of the Hordes models up close so it is good to see what they can look like, makes me want to order some for myself . . .

  • I really like the personal touch you have added by doing the custom base stuff

  • Great job on the figures buddy!

  • Looks wonderful. Im really diggin the work. Im doing my own series that is similar to "figure Features". I call it "Malifaux Miniautres". However Im also starting up a Skorne army so I will have Hordes-related content. Anyways great work. I like the custom bases alot.

  • Not my fave minis but you did a fantastic job on them. Nice work

  • These look fantastic! How did you go about painting the albino skin? Was it difficult?

  • @osoidian

The albino skin is a little trickier than standard troll blood but not too bad. Instead of working my way up to Trollblood Highlight(light grey), I started with the Trollblood Highlight as a base and gradually mixed in increasing amounts of Menoth White Highligh(ivory). The trick is a very think wash of red ink(more like a glaze) to bring out the musculature(sounds weird, but look at the studio model).

  • Very nice

  • they look really nice!
