This game is a buy. I just wish this game was available when I was a child back in early 90's. This actually plays like Ghostbusters 3 movie. People say multiplayer lacks but you gotta play the previous Ghostbuster games to really appreciate what we have here. These damn kids are so spoiled nowadays.

As for the GAME....RENT IT...dont buy it...its good but it aint that good its a big step up for multiplayer gamming and YES IT IS MULTI-PLAYER...i havent played it my self but my friend sent me a clip of actual real time game play...i think you will be too busy throwing proton waves around than actually gettin into the story...famous quote from GB-"lets show this prehistoric bitch how we do things downtown"

Let's get this straight once and for all. The Proton Pack, Ghost Trap and PKE Meter are the greatest innovations man has ever conceived. :)

As for the game:

From what I hear, the Wii version WILL have Co-Op play, while the 360/PS3 will NOT.

Doesn't matter, I have a 360, my sister has the Wii. Ghostbusting galore in two different households. :)

This will be the killer app for 2009 no doubt and all of us 80's kids can finally say we have a game worth having.

I don't know how much content was transferred to this version, but this looks BETTER than the one Activision was going to release! I can't wait!!! Activision will be sorry they gave up on this franchise especially when the 3rd movie comes out. GB 4EVER!!!

The clowns at Activision claimed they didn't want to publish Ghostbusters as they could not create yearly sequels for it. That is a stupid and greedy reason. They didn't deserve this game. The game actually looks like it might be that rarity in video games, a game based on a film that's actually good. I think this one will go alongside Goldeneye and Riddick as great film based games. Nice to hear all the proper voices as well.

Yeah, I believe the term the Activision president used was "exploit." They SERIOUSLY underestimated the GB fanbase. Not only is this one of the most successful franchises in cinematic history, but it has a cross-generational appeal that could only grow larger with the release of a great video game (like this one) & the 3rd movie. Activision was sitting on a gold mine, but they won't realize it until June '09 when this bad boy hits the stratosphere. Atari better understands their market anyway.

I saw this trailer on another site, and the pace was like 15% faster. And that made the trailer TWICE as good! No shit. It kinda sounded like they had inhaled helium, but still, the trailer became MUCH better thanks to the music being faster.

Yes the game has been announced for June 2008 which marks the premier of the original movie! Finally a game that is truly made by a great developers known for making creepy setting games and the original actors and writers to be placed in the game! It DOES have a GREAT Real Ghostbusters vibe to it, especially in Winstons last line. Although it looks incredibly weird seeing 5 Ghostbusters in one shot.
