This tune.....just makes me want to curl up on the sofa, with Mr Bear and a cup of hot milk, Mum's voice drifting through from the kitchen....rain pattering on the window, warm and safe, not a care in the world. Why do we have to grow up.
Hector is driving the car (it's a left-hand dive), but he seems unconcerned about gripping the steering wheel. Just as well he's only travelling at two miles an hour.
does Hector have a thing for sea shells? by the way he groaned when he found it he sounded like he was about to prematurely flood the garden with his doggy jizz
@superiourcowies ... Kiki lives next door, she used to come through a hole in the wall... My favourite line was 'Silly Old Hector'... it always made me laugh... *cheesy grin* :0)x
That is really cool, I was 13 when I was introduced to it. Mum bought the DVDs for dad at Xmastime. It is such a cozy and cute series. It was originally French but redubbed in English as well as I read somewhere that the story line was changed in most episodes in the English dubs.
Am I the only person who found this programme very creepy? There's something sinister about it - especially the frog - it gave me nightmares as a child!
OMG!!! THANKYOU!!! We are one! I had the crap scared out of me by the frog, serious serious fear of seeing it, it was the eyes. I think there's so much in these things that scare certain kinds of kids, like us two at least! Damn that scarey frog, beady evil yappy mouth and staring eyes as I tried to sleep!
Oh My !! This takes me back...and back. I loved "Ki Ki" and the little sound she made as she hopped about. Jeez...All we need now is catain Pugwash and Babapapa!
Am 3 again.. Right Trumpton next then a dash of Camberwick Green.. Oh and a smoke, the "green stuff"
Otta do it..smiley face

In Austria we had these lovely "Maison Tou-Tou/Hector´s House" in 1968.
Sometimes even now in the first decade of the 2000ies I meet people, who say
"Ich bin doch ein braver Tou-Tou" - that means "I´m a nice and good Tou-Tou"
:-))) Really nice remembers of my 60ies childhood
