  • Wow, this video shows what a great neighborhood Park Slope used to be. Just full of regular working families living their lives.

Now it's become nothing but an out-of-town yuppie cesspool. Such a shame.

  • @GreenFreightTrain

I grew up on 3rd street between 4th and 5th Avenue, across the street from the park. Best time of my life. My uncle lived at 300 8th avenue on 3rd street his whole life.

  • Loved your video! I was only 10mos old when your video was taken but It certainly made me smile just thinking that was how my family use to be

  • wow im in the 8th grade at St. Saviour i love it soooooooooooooo much

  • Wow!! Park Slope when it was a working-class neighborhood!! The days before gentrification turned it into a Yuppies-Only haven. It's been my father's home since, atleast, the early 1960's. He's still there, on Eighth Avenue and First Street. Amazing!!

  • Wow! I was born and raised in the Slope, before it became snooty - what a nice thing to see old Brooklyn, and nice, old Brooklyn people!
