@Baldoki no man theyre ditching that idea the seed and the bride are gone theyre going back to the original roots and remaking the andy story but the good thing about this remake is brad dourif will be back to play chucky and the original creator of childs play don mancini will be returning as well as some of the original crew and writers of the first movie
they should not make a remake, they should make a 6th Chucky movie that will carrie on from seed of chucky, most of the time remakes are bad well i just hope the remake is good. I got a Chucky Doll today. =)

i hope the remake won't suck, but IMO my guess is that it will due to the ONE following reason: CGI, and special effects have become too good. the simplistic special effects used in the 88' version made the doll more realistic/creepy/believable. Due to that specific reason is why i think that horror movies/scary movies made NOW-a-days are "slumping" and instead are turning to japanese style type of horrors with the ghosts, and spirits, and american exorcisms, and paranormal activity genres.
@crosseyed55 i hear in an interview that they wont use CGI in the remake instead chucky will be animatronic like all the other ones only better because of the advancements in animatronic technology
there's goin to be a remake.... to be released next year.... watch out for it... it will be much more scarier...it will focus on the story behind chucky....

As long as Chucky is voiced by Brad Dourif,and the doll is an animatronic,I'm all for the remake.
