  • Ive heard a rumour that this only sold 5 Copies here in the Uk in 1953-4 when it was released over here but il take that with a pinch of salt. I would have bought 20 copies on my own no matter how shit the Wages were back then. Credit Crunch Bring it on arse-ole!!!!

  • Ilearned to dance to this song when I was 14.

    It was the first doo-wop song I ever heard back in the early 1950's. Here in California we did a dance called the "bop".

  • I think they were a one hit wonder, but what a hit! A definitive uptempo doo wop song.

  • If you have the original 45RPM or 78RPM the flipside was called "I Love you so" which was an excellent version and later done bt The Chantels.
