Fallout is overrated, look it up, most (MOST NOT ALL) nuclear weapons produce fallout thats many times less radioactive than the surface of the ocean (think reflected sunlight). And fallout immediately begins to lose potency at a steep rate from when it is irradiated until about twelve hours after, then completely fades into background radiation from one to two weeks after.

You have to wipe out the enemy population by nuking them and defend your self from enemy nukes.

it has a very slow pace and a great atmousphere.

I have won many games with zero casualties. (And NOT playing as Europe either.)

It is possible to win, it's just that the game designers tried their hardest to make it unwinnable just so they can push an anti-nuclear message.

Real nuclear war is nothing like how it is depicted in pop culture. If the fearmongering is coming from anywhere, it's from pop culture and the media.

If you think about it, nuclear weapons have actually saved lives by acting as a deterrent and basically preventing wide-scale, WWII size conflicts from happening. WWIII probably would have happened by now if nuclear weapons were never invented.

I totally agree with you. Ever wondered why there was no third world war. Extraterrestrials intervened to arm the two most powerful and just nations in the world...Russia and USA (two prominent victors and great contributors to the outcome of World War 2), and to maintain world peace.
