finished it today, i liked the game, it was amusing. the ending wasnt what i expected, you can kill the ''final boss'' in like 30 seconds with the green stuff shooting gun and explosive barrels. there were too many monsters on one spot during the game, so that annoyed me a bit. the rest was good, overall id give it a 7/10. the game needs more bosses though.

this review sucks, did you even play it before you made this video? And take that stupid screen protector off, that isn't going to do anything. If anything hard enough to scratch the glass comes in contact, its going right through that little piece of shit. Get a case with a lip if you want to protect your phone, its shattering you need to watch out for, not scratching.

if you have a 3GS, it won't get fingerprints on it, so thats a moot point. I had a screen protector for about a week before I realized how much they suck and it had smeary fingerprints all over it. The glass has an oleophobic coating, the shitty plastic screen covers do not.

I dunno, I wouldn't speak too soon in regards to PSP dwarfing the graphical level of the iPhone.

It didn't work for PS3 in regards to cross-platform games, as although it has more powerful hardware, the 360 still remains similar on graphical level.

As well as this - in my opinion at least - I really wouldn't want to try porting PSP games to the iPhone.

Most PSP games wouldn't be worth the effort it'd take.

Haha, I beat you to this one Jon, I got it the other day and I must say its ace. A bit tricky with the controls but you get used to it. But I have to say I haven't stopped playing it, I have got Need For Speed Undercover and Real Racing new but Doom is the one I have been playing! Great version of the game. I had the shareware version of Doom 1 on my Mac Performa 460 in the 90's!! Anyone remember Marathon as well?

Case in point, you dont even control your movement in Doom: Res. You just move around as the game dictates.

Carmack even lamented no buttons on the iPhone, he even wanted to use the volume clicker to shoot or something.

I played Mario brothers on iphone, it was pretty cool for what it is, but the onscreen buttons are gimpy.
