Thats the difrence between a muzzle break and a flash suppressor. I remove the A3 bird cage and put one of these on my AR and target reacqisition (SP?) has dropped significatly.
@Timb0NZ maybe is doesn't matter or make a difference to you but that's you, not me. For me it made a big difference. I built this rifle to be a purpose built tack driver, not a "tacticool" swiss army knife rifle with a bunch of useless tactical crap that ill never use. I liked how loud it was but its no where near as loud as my larger caliber rifles so I really don't care. The brake reduced muzzle jump also, not just recoil. Made my rifle more accurate...just what I wanted it to do.
@ericzanutto I bought the brake to use for action rifle competitions, and noticed quite a difference in muzzle jump and accuracy. For $30, the Miculek just can't be beaten. I do have to put up with a lot of grief at the range as far as noise and muzzle blast, however.
@coltar1234 its great stuff i guess for th emoney but it runs soooo dirty i dont know how much more of it im going to shoot. ive also had 2 shells now jam inside my barrel...pretty sure its not the guns fault as i have a decent build up. you have any trouble with this ammo yet?
@techsniper777 thanks. i painted an OD green base coat. then i used that foamy rubber stuff you put under rugs to keep them from slipping on hardwood floors as a stencil. i laid the rubber stuff down in different directions and applied black, bright green, and desert sand color over the stencil, all while randomly orienting the rubber stencil. id like to use the same method to do a snow camo some day.
im looking into getting one of these for my Saiga, a friend has one on his Bushmaster AR-15, thing is loud as hell. :D and you can still feel the blast like 10 meters away to the side. :S
@thiscouldntblowmore ya, its real loud, has real high precussion to those standing near it, doesnt hide flash at all, but really reduces felt recoil. its awesome, especially for the $40 i paid for it. JP industries are pretty nice but theyre $130.

muzzzle break is not worth the noise on AR's. AR's have little recoil.

@Timb0NZ I just love it when people on youtube tell other people how to use and treat their weapons. Its not your weapon, so why do you care?
