The tenth was willing to shoot a man knowing that it would save all of existence, the eighth was perfectly ok using effing pipebombs on Daleks, the sixth doctor dropped a guy into an acid bath, and the fourth fired a big ass rifle at a giant monster in the Talons of Weng Chiang.

Then there's the whole Time War thing, christ knows how many he supposedly killed then.
