@DanielChristy19, they could but to be brutally honest, they are building the game how they wished Half Life 1 should have been.Its no longer a recreation, they have changed so much and cut so much out its no longer fits the definition of a recreation since its not the orignal game with new textures and updated graphics.Just take alook at the chargers they plan to use, the health charger says HEV and their reason is HEV is the company even though its an Acrynoym for the name of the powered suit

@mankyman6, Thats what I want too, but this game is no longer a recreation of the orignal because things have been added and things been omitted. For instance the F-16 falcon in the orignal was removed because it wasnt used by the marines. Really, so we have a HEVU marine group in the real world like in the Half Life world? Didnt think so. They tried to make the game "realistic" in that sense but put others down that wanted iron sight aiming. Why not they already tainted the orignal game.

@skold33p, Raminator stated on the forums that they expect to have the game out within 12 months even if they have another delay. So the game could basically be released between tomorrow and July 2011 basically. If they cant get it then, well then I guess we should all go on their site and bitch about how they missed another "deadline" yet again and figure out whats wrong.

The devs already said the sodas wont do anything as far as your health goes. They are just like the water in HL2. They just come out and you can pick them up and throw them if you want.
