Reminds me of Orange and Lemons, but this band's a lot better. With all the harmonization of voices and British-inspired apparel and vibe, they're probably one of the best among the new Pinoy bands... Love 'em!

Orange and Lemons (who is also famous for copying the melody of Chadeliers by the Care for their Big Brother song) is also a reminiscent of the Beatles. i just wish that Filipino bands create their own identity rather than being a replica of a previous band. The Beatles is the Beatles. I believe that our local bands have talents and they should use it creating their own songs and identity.
Maybe the reason why your family appreciated it is because they are reminiscent of the Beatles down to the movements of the guitar and the stomping of the feet. They used to play Indie songs way back in 1998 or 1999 (I have a copy of their songs) until RJ Jacinto managed them and made them play Beatles songs. Because RJ is a sucker for Beatles... I am too.

Orange and Lemons (who is also famous for copying the melody of Chadeliers by the Care for their Big Brother song) is also a reminiscent of the Beatles. i just wish that Filipino bands create their own identity rather than being a replica of a previous band. The Beatles is the Beatles. I believe that our local bands have talents and they should use it creating their own songs and identity.

Maybe the reason why your family appreciated it is because they are reminiscent of the Beatles down to the movements of the guitar and the stomping of the feet. They used to play Indie songs way back in 1998 or 1999 (I have a copy of their songs) until RJ Jacinto managed them and made them play Beatles songs. Because RJ is a sucker for Beatles... I am too.

They're good - I love the 60's man. The Bloomfields, nag-iisa lang iyan, napanuod ko sila noon sa La Vista, they're not that bad. Ayos, fun-loving naman sila eh, basta masaya tayo, ayos na! Kudos Wince, you did a good one again. :)

the bloomfields's music is a big break from all the angsty songs coming from opm bands. this band is actually the only opm band i've ever liked.
to all those judgmental people, BUY their album first and see for yourselves. or better yet, go to one of their gigs. you can really see how good they are once you get to see them perform live.
