Amon Tobin is not based in South America- I had no idea he was originally from there. most of those use English as their language and aim their music at a N Am/W Euro indie audience more than anything. Nobukazu is the LEAST like that, which still isn't saying that much. so pitiful to have *only* him to represent the music of Asia, half the world's pop..

Good taste in music. But, most of the music that you are referring to has more a sound originating from Europe and the United States, as that is where the IDM/Electronica genre originated from decades ago.

Try listening to more ethnic music like Ravi Shankar, for example. Then, I will be more impressed. In today's age there is not much anything out of the ordinary about listening to music simply wrote in other continents. Most people do, perhaps without even thinking about it.
