Why is it ok for people calling themselves "government" to use violence to take money from others but it's not ok for anyone else to do the same thing?
@GarlicPudding rockstar probably meant to say the government uses "force" and the "threat of violence" to take people's money. A great example of this is Ed and Elaine Brown - middle aged tax protesters in NH. The government treated them like they killed 45 people and even their neighbor was convicted for "aiding" them and was sentenced to many years in prison after he got caught walking their dog for them while they were barricaded in their home.
@GarlicPudding "Government procedure" isn't violent? What happens to people who don't submit to their demands, including not "paying" taxes. I think you are missing something. All government has to use violence, or it wouldn't be government at all.
@GarlicPudding I'm sorry you cannot face the reality that taxes are just theft. It may be an "orderly" theft simply because people comply because they do not want to be kidnapped, thrown into cages & have everything they own confiscated & never returned to them. I'm calling it what it is. There is nothing irresponsible about calling things by their proper names. In fact, what *is* irresponsible is denying the reality of the violence inherent in taxation.
@GarlicPudding Or, do you mean, fear-mongering only holds water when statists & government do it? Because fear-mongering is exactly what you are doing now & exactly what government does to get people to give up their money.
@rockstarofredondo "Because fear-mongering is exactly what you are doing now..."
LOL, you amuse me. If you can equate taxtation (which is subject to laws, as well as legally limited) with robbery, you're either a very good troll, or a tin-foil hat wearing loon who will soon be off to jail for tax evasion.
@rockstarofredondo If there are no taxes there is no government. If there is no government there is no police or medical help. If there is no police there is no controlling force that keeps criminals in check. If criminals are not in check there is no peace. If there is no peace there is no America.Taxes are apart of America. You speak like the rest of us here don't pay taxes and we don't know what's going to happen if we don't. Freedom is not free.
@GTR66960 All of the services you mentioned can be provided voluntarily. No one has to stick a gun in other's faces to get them to buy their own services. It is a fallacy that only government can provide services. Next.
@GTR66960 We dont want no no government dumbass we want small government that is also acountable. There is nothing wrong with having police fire ETC those are perfectly constitutional. The problem is that when Bush's tax cuts expire and Obamas new tax takes control the 1%ers will pass that cost on to us by raising prices and laying off workers. If you think things are bad now wait till 2011.
Sorry but your age old excuse as to as to passing the buck has no substance.
"Obamas new tax takes control"
Another bullshit out and out lie of a mischaracterization. The Bush tax cuts are expiring. Obama is doing nothing in that regard to raise taxes. All Congress has to do for taxes to return to Clinton levels... is nothing.
@trelane227 And yet everywhere taxes are high, livng costs and poverty are high. Whereas places like where I live, taxes are low and living costs are low. Happens everywhere.
Once upon a time, America was a free country, You could conduct personal life and business freely, and live your life the way you wanted. It was a magical place with jobs, freedom liberty and prosperity. America's GDP was ten times that of every other nation combined. Then the magic liberal pixies came and sprinkled their marxist dust over the land creating economic regulations, taxes and bureaucratic restrictions against personal rights and freedoms And the libtards lived happily ever after
@trelane227 The whole system of socialism speaks for itself. Just open a book about Russia or China or other countries like Cambodia Laos and Vietnam and see for yourself. The system's 100% failure rate alone says it all.
2. Most economies in the world are referred to as "mixed economies", including the U.S., because they contain a mixture of socialism and capitalism. There is no such thing as either a pure capitalist or socialist society anywhere in the world. They only exist on paper.
ht tp://hdr.undp.or g/en/statistics/
I refer to the most recent HDI report. Notice that the U.S. is ranked 13th and every country ranked above us is more socialized than we are.
@trelane227 The formula they use for those statistics is often times flawd. For example, in calculating US murder rates they often include criminals killed by homeowners. Inthese socialist countries they often redefine what poverty is. The Chinese don't consider sweatshop workers making a few dollars a day to be in poverty.
Reagan proved that tax cuts work by cutting more taxes than any president before, Which resulted in the largest peace time economic growth in US history.
And just a side note the top 1% pays over 40% of the current tax revenue, the top 5% pays over 60%! As reported by the National Taxpayers Union.
What a crying shame that you devote your valuable time and obvious creative genius into producing political propaganda that even Hugo Chavez, Vladimir Putin or Kim Jung Il would greatly admire. Why not take your talent and start writing screen plays to be aired in pre-schools indoctrinating the youth in how

We could all be rich if we where allowed to lend money we didnt have at a profit like the banksters do
Most taxes are payments to these banksters, interesest on natinal debt!
I dont think people realize that if it werent for the rich, the middle and lower classes wouldnt have jobs. They are also the main contributors to charities, new technologies, education, natural disasters and social events. I never understood why people hate rich people for being rich. The rich already get overtaxed as it is. Actually, everyone in the US is overtaxed.
Yeah, why don't we just have the government take ALL the money away from rich people and then they can use that money to create jobs and turn everyone into a government employee, right? And then everyone's government paycheck can be taxed 100% so that the government can afford to pay them again the following week!... Great fuckin idea you braindead socialist cannibals!

I wonder if the producer of this video has ever taken a college-level economics course.
We need rich people. Look at your paycheck, it was probably written by a rich person, unless you are a government worker, in which case your wages are extracted from working families at gunpoint.
Yes, tax cuts for the rich because ONLY they can invest into the economy (or into OTHER economies as they often do)
I mean if you reduced the tax burden on the middle class they couldn't invest at the supply level right? No, that DOW thing is just for the rich. And, unlike the rich, the middle class 'doesn't' drive consumption which is actually the more critical half of the supply/demand equation
The rich can't provide supply to a virtually non-existent middle class that isn't consuming
A sociological allegory... or something I confuse with allegory:
