I got one recently, with both pickups, sunburst, and its a sweet bass. My ex girlfriend said it sounds better than the ibanez I was using! I have the bridge guard but removed it. Why do you want one anyway? Any way I'm coming from the land of full scale basses and find it hard to get going into real fast technical stuff on this Univox, but it is a tone bass.

To the chap who said, 'Now try it on a good bass'....This is a great sounding bass! It's not all about the hype that companies sell the sheep. This bass has been used on several huge selling records. It's retro and has a sound that you just can't get any more with all of these newer cookie cutter basses.

there is really no point in taking out a pickup and filling it in. just make it so the pickup selecter is stuck on the neck position if thats all you want.

Just wanted to let you know that unfortunately my Documentary on The Funk Brothers did not make it past regionals. But thank you again for the comment. I mean, I am only in 8th grade...I couldn't make a Warner Brothers quality film. But I am thinking of doing another documentary about the KKK.
