There are many such personfications, each one with a meaning and a purpose e.g. Lord Krishna( The Supreme Soul), Lord Rama(The Supreme Light), Shakti( The Female Energy), Jesus Christ( God's Infinite Love), Allah( God's Perfect Justice and Mercy) etc. They are all God, and Aspects of God.

This is a very beautiful, simple chant...and I love the image that goes with this...very calming...just the words by themselves--even without a melody to go with them--are calming just when I think about them...I am SO "favoriting" this video!
