I just can't play this game online with a school friend. I read hundreds of manuals I've do everything just like they sayed. Not by  IP not by Hamachi no firewall same versions, I'm freaking done! We can join games by IP from another players but we for some stupid reason can't get to be the hosts!!

I learned a while ago a strategy of Kenshin Uesugi vs Shingen Takeda in real life, I modified this and came up with a strategy for AoE....

Provide vast and equal numbers, front and rear. When the front is decreasing, send them immediately to the nearest Castle then make the rear soldiers into frontliners... Do this process over and over again, AND perfectly, so that you'll push to the enemy in no time and emerge victorious and unscathed..... Thanks!!!

idI'm afra too many numbers are too bad for AOE Tacticians and Strategists bcoz,

1st: Too many numbers may be enough for a great victory, but very poor strategy, bcoz they cannot all move as one.

2nd: Too many melee attackers will be gradually routed by the archers, so lessening them and applying some troops on the rear may prove excellent results.

(Steps are copy pasted by those who judged me greatly by pros, to prove that I am not boasting.... although I like the way the think...)

3. Launch the Age of empires2 or The conquerors that you have bought OR downloaded as priated version. then click multiplayer and choose LAN and join one of the game in the list.

well there's 4-5 more civs, aztecs, mayans, spanish, huns, and one other i think. There's a whole new campaign, and a couple of features are added to make the experience better. villagers work automatically after building a lumber camp...etc deff buy both, i think u can get them together. aoe 2 was prob one of the best rts games of all time. very good. second maybe to starcraft.

When i reach 200k gold or even, its because i have 140 Trade Carts working 150 gold in every trip.. that way, in one hour, i have 200k to spent in my defense and army...

3-. Based on what i see in ur coment, i can tell your matches are very short... Two or three battles and you are dry... We collect lots of sources, and then we have enough to battle for hours.. Way more funnier.

Host a game on internet tcp option. Then click IP when in the menu. Write down the IP address and get your brother to choose internet tcp in multiplayer. click show games and write in the Ip address. hamachi wont always cooperate in the same network so dont use it when you play at home with some in the house. take away your firewall options to. Or you can just try to connect you computers in a LAN. that will absolutely work. Just get a switch.
