and i clicked check for solution but it doesnt help me at all

i have tried multiple times to jailbreak my ipod touch 1st gen 3.1.1 but wen i select my custom firmware it loads for a while then i get error 1600. I have tried both dfu and recovery mode, switched usb ports. Why do i still get error 1600.

sorry guys there has bean an update for mac running 10.5.6 sometimes getting into dfu mode is hard and itunes doesnt reconize it. there are ways around this so just keep looking around on the internet. try going to dev team blog

I had an error that said failed to go into DFU mode, then iTunes opened and the error went away. QuickPwn went to the download screen, and has been sitting on "Sending WTF.s5l8900xall.RELEASE.dfu.." for over 14 min. What did I do wrong.

it was all working, but then i was restoring it then error 21 popped up now its in recovery mode can u tell me what went wrong?

it's still not working on mine... am I doing the button routine wrong because I've notice that at first it says "press power and home buttons" then instructs you to hold them now do you press them once then press them again and on the second time hold them or just on the first press you hold??? either way I've tried both and it still doesn't work... I have a iphone 3g
