  • this is the worst Pu-erh vid ever

  • WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST POUR IT IN ANOTHER CUP THROUGH THE STRAINER, RATHER THAN FISHING IT OUT.......

  • NOOB

  • U know those 1 tablespoon minidisks are meant to make an entire pot of tea not just one cup right? That's the reason it's so dark u r making the tea way to strong. Haha

  • I saw things like those but big (like disks) in a Chinatown (california) grocery store. Some guy said me that they compress the tea under hot iron (sounded cool at the time and just believed him) and just cut out pieces from the disk and put it on the cup.

    I have this feeling you can buy tea for better prices in asian areas maybe? Or maybe I just trust asian people more with tea. <.<;

  • It looks like you are really enjoying investigating Puerh. I prefer World Market Free Trade Ancient Tree Puerh. But believe me, you can do MUCH better than this~ go to Cooks Shop Here~ a beeng cha of their Menghai Dayi, 500 grams, roughly one pound, will taste so good it will practically kill you, for much less than your Rishi is costing you over time. I paid about 35 us dollars for the beeng cha, shaped like a hard brown frisbee, 8 for shipping. BEST: 1/4 lb of their loose puerhs, seriously

  • I buy mine from purepuer, extremely nice people and they sell actual Puerh tea cakes.. though these nuggets may be more convenient. Puerh isn't supposed to be steeped that long, and yes you should rinse it.

  • You're in the office doing that? What do you do in this bloody office that enables you to dick around with tea for six minutes and thirty-eight seconds?

  • they are called Tuo Cha "bird nests" I believe because they look like little nests

  • By the way, it is pronounced as ''pu errrr'' as when we paused to say, ''well, errrr....hmm" like that, not ''pu air''.

Also, you can brew your tea like you do, so don't worry but do wash your tea first in a filter. It is great to know you do enjoy this wonderful tea :-)

This tea can also be boiled and brewed over the gas or electric stove but try the slow cooker, it's great. Pour some into your thermos flask and take that to work, wonderful.

  • Oh my God ! I can't believe that you drink your pu Er tea like that ! You really should use a teapot and wash your tea... Too much tea for a cup... So what, i just hope that you like your tea ! :-)

  • Pu er teas have a great variety within them, but please don't brew it like that, you have to use a gaiwan or a teapot and rinse it then do second infusion, otherwise you will drink mold and dirt on the outside of it!!! I'm happy you found a pu er you enjoyed, but i think you will enjoy it even more if you learn how to brew it properly.

  • where do you get the 40-50 dollar per cup tea from?

  • anybody knows where i can get cups like that?

  • The one that is shown is from Adagio. Just go to there website and you can by it from the teaware section.

  • puerh tea is my favourite type of chinese tea. I am glad you like it.

  • your supposed to rinse the leaves then steep them. Or your gonna be drinking mold

  • @XxXellusionistXxX If you're concerned about mold you should drink another kind of tea, a simple rinse of boiling water won't remove it all.

  • Glen says, "oh tea nuggets isnt that smokeable?"

  • Dude, is that the way you drink Pu er???First of all ,i recommand you to put boiling water in a tea pot (gongfu)then take the water out ,ad your puerh,(3 to 4 grams) then pour water on it ,for about 20 sec.and then enjoy! For the next infusion ,10 sec.etc...You can go on all day !

  • anyway to buy that online?

  • that doesn't look safe

  • It's actually pronounced.. " Poo Er "

    The "Er" rhyming with "her".

  • Dunno why everyone's marking this down. It's actually true. That's how we say it in Chinese.

  • my old english teacher give our class a cup of Redbuh tea each to shut us up, coming from never drinkin tea to this, it tasted so good. I recommend you try it out with or without milk. Im away to get me some, bye

  • Kevin, glad you liked the Pu-erh - a useful tip, (which you may already know, but which I find a useful guide) is that as the quality of the Pu-erh increases that signature earthy quality becomes more subtle.

  • I tried some ; very good.

But One pellet of pu-erh tea = 5 tea cups (according to my local dealer)

  • Thanks, I like strong teas.

I can't stand weak green teas, and I can't keep my weight on since I started drinking green teas(lost 20 lbs). I wonder, could you grow tea plants on the Digg roof?

  • poo air tea ?

    wrapped balls ?

  • Kevin, where are you streaming this?

  • Seems good enough. I would have to try out some more varieties.
