@ZhaneTheGreat I save oil from deep-frying in a clean jar, and I refrigerate it for later use. For leftover grease like this, I just keep empty jars under my sink, and collect the grease in a jar to dispose of it neatly in the garbage.
@xxxdids I only used meat tenderizer that has no MSG. It is very clearly marked on the container. The ingredients are all natural. The tenderizing effect comes from papapya.
it was delicious! had the gravy with corn and mashed potatoes mmmm!
when i plopped a piece into the pan, the oil spashed back on me and burnt my wrist a little lol. i think in the future i'll just be laying things in the pan instead of tossing them :D
Yes, bottom round will be just as good. You can use sirloin tip, also; I would stay away from chuck roast or cuts similar to that. But bottom round is great! Thanks for your question!

Why do you drain the grease into a jar? Do you save it?

OK, I have a quick question. Instead of water to the gravy why not use milk? Just curious.
gsxrbuckeye 1 year ago
@gsxrbuckeye Milk is fine; it makes a creamier gravy.

You don't need salt on food. Regardless of it tasting better.
Abyssery 2 years ago
You can always leave off the salt (or any other flavoring that you don't like!). Thanks for your comment!
