I have an idea: why dont you install ballast pump water systems (the same system that enables RC submarines to submerge), and make a large icecube. Now recreate the scene of the titanic hitting the iceberg, then activate the ballast and make the model sink! (only problem is the breaking up :/ )

I bought one of these recently. It came with the motors installed, but no RC. The model is great, especially for the money (I paid $A 995) but the motors were very badly mounted. They were totally out of line with the prop shafts. I had to remove the old mounts and install new mounts and U/J's. I installed 2 speed controllers (one for the outside props and one for the turbine prop) 2x 12 volt batteries and 5 channel R/C and 10 kgs ballast.The model sails very well. The small rudder works well.

This video is sooo nice! And this is exactly the length and scale of a Titanic model that I would like to have! Too bad there are no smoke generators built into every of the 4 stacks, it would add aditional exitement if they could been turned on and off digitally.

By the way: what was the price for that reached on ebay? Is this a self build construction or was it a kit? Where can I buy Titanic models large like this? Hope someone can answer my questions. Greetings from Germany.

you can get parts from Ebay and buy yourself a Revell model kit, it does not need to be that big,seal it up make it watertight, figure out the right ballast, fit it with a tiny motor switch and battery, replace the plastic rudder and fit the brass propelers.
