  • MRI FTW, its an amazing tool period many people are just jealous they dont have it, not everyone is stupid at GeekSquad, I could build something similar to the MRI Disc, or have a combo of things such as HIRENS BOOT CD, TECHIEZ TOOL KIT, BartPE, Manually removing viruses is a pain in the damn ass and takes forever possible but a waste of time, I hate manually searching System32, APPDATA, and Local settings then using HJT when something can do it for me so STFU dont judge

  • geeek squad ftw stfu

  • O god! someone please!!! Hit the stupid out of Devo85x!

  • Wow. Really?

  • I applied to geek squad today (Just graduated high school and need money) and they don't have any questions on their application that would show how much you know about computers. It's sad...

  • @devo85x There is a test, Don't worry.

  • @devo85x And your mad that they didn't Hire you, because you need at lest an A+ certs to work there, So you go on the internet to rant about it...You Kid! are going big places!!

P.S its a Application....there not going to ask you something computer related, Why because dumb fags like you would just google it. If you ever had a job...you would know its all about the interview.

    Good luck in life kid.

  • @haloman977 Its kinda hard to google complex problems, and I do have an A+ cert moron (after they changed to the new test so you couldn't get by with a 515 anymore O_o How is a dude named haloman997 who only uploads videos of video games gonna call me a kid? Have you looked at my videos? Would you like me to post a link to my case modding videos as an application? And I rant because they hire dumb people... not because they didn't give me a job (which I got elsewhere). Nice try asshole.

  • @devo85x Just a little FYI...I work there....LOL am sorry they didn't want you sorry ass. :D

P.S I made this account LONG time ago. (age13) Just because i post 3 or 5 videos about something off topic dose not mean i am a gamer that sits on my ass all day playing MW2. My position At geeksquad is (senior tech).....have a nice time flipping Burgers at Mc Donald's. :D

  • @haloman977 Nice try but I have a job and not at mcdonalds. And just a little FYI, I have never met a geek squad employee that knew what the hell they were doing. Met one who didn't even know what unix was. Congrats on being in charge of a bunch of unqualified morons who take advantage of people. Tell me one time geek squad has gotten good media attention for knowing what the hell they are doing? Oh and you do realize you can make a new account right? Just another FYI

  • @haloman977 Oh and apparently you have no understanding of the English language or you just missed the part that said "I applied to geek squad today"... and no post since then until your dumb ass mistook it as a rant... Kinda pathetic you have to respond to a 6 month old comment and fail to understand what it means...

  • @devo85x Yeah that's why geek squad is a multi-billion-dollar company. And you don't need unix to fix a computer. are you stupid? HEll you cant even SELL that at a store. WTF are you thinking?!?! I can just imagine a dumb fuck like your self trying to sell a copy of unix...LOLOLOL

No wonder geek squad didn't hire you. XD

  • @haloman977 Again you fail, if you want to fix ANYTHING of the corporate world you need an understanding of Unix... if you want to fix macs you need an understanding of unix... many tools helpful in fixing computers are based off unix... and some dude bought an Ubuntu 8.04 Beta cd from a friend of mine. Yes it is a billion-dollar company... with shit morals and no respect in the tech world.

  • @devo85x LOL Unix is a Open source OS....If you understand ANYTHING about the I.T filed...You would know that if a company that uses Any Open source OS. that's a lawsuit. And if you know Unix Good for you....Good job. its not a requirement. So Fuck off kid.

gets hands On with the Geek squad MRI and then we can talk....retard...

  • @haloman977 Are you really that dumb? 94% of servers run off Linux/Unix operating systems... It isn't a lawsuit to use open source software in a company, actually, most companies that create open source software encourage it! Ever hear of Red Hat or SUSE? Both are Linux/GNU (which is UNIX based) and are primarily used in the corporate world. You call me a retard and you don't know this? Hell, even the geek squad application says some of their tools are Linux/Unix based!

  • @devo85x name one geek squad application that uses it.

  • @devo85x Not sure what all tools you guys use but do you use anything like GPARTED or use any backup software?

  • @devo85x Like i said...Geek squad MRI. NOT A UNIX SOFTWARE.

  • @haloman977 Anybody who knows what they are doing understands that Unix/linux is an EXTREMELY powerful tool when fixing computers... and as for the geek squad MRI? It gives employees an excuse to be lazy and not know what they are doing by doing most of the work for them. In other words, we go right back to the "geek squad employees tend to not know what they are doing" argument. The MRI is just a suite of programs that tend to get the problem wrong anyways (from what I've seen)

  • @devo85x yeah your right about UNIX being a powerful tool and what not....But If you ever had Hands on with the geek squad MRI. (NOT A PIRATED COPY) You would understand that its more then something saying "Mother bored"'''(OK) ""Hard drive"" (OK). Its a all in one Tool that saves money and time! You actually have to know more then the avg tech. You wanna know why Geek squad is sooo successful.....MRI. it works for over 1,000,000 people computers that we check in.

  • @haloman977 I understand what the MRI does and yes it does work for a lot of people, but the techs do not need to know as much as they would if they were fixing computers on their own.

  • @haloman977 and as for the media saying all this bad shit about geek squad...well no shit there gonna say something about a company that's making that much money. Its the media. its there job. For all the people that don't like geek squad as a company. To bad that we took $200 dollars from you...You should of been smart enough not to download from Limewire, Or click on anything that says FREE!

  • @haloman977 You say click on anything thats free but thats how you get viruses and your defending the geek squad? Think before you speak ;)

  • @nmhearon Who said that Dude? not me!

  • @haloman977 Sorry read the comment wrong. You know what your talking about. If people weren't so stupid and didn't download from 3rd party sites instead of just buying it like they should then half the existent computer problems would be gone and resolved. Totally agree with you.

  • as a former geeksquad agent, this is true for the phone service. However not as a tech, a+ certs minimum is required.

  • thats how they work nowadays

  • that's bullshit. best buy does not hire that way. i should know because i work for them. lame commercial.

  • Crap

  • Geek Squad doesn't hire like that. Great marketing though.

  • geek squad rules!

  • @marvin666777

    Agreed

  • Yawn. A low-brow "attack ad." Splashing the logo is hardly necessary, as the shirt & tie is recognizable enough.

How many of your target audience would even know what a MCSE is?

    Bad form.

  • Racist, Racist, Racist video.

  • yea this video is lol ...why does the asian guy have to bow like he's in a martial arts tournament hahaha....but the video makes alot of sense although ...I'm a CIA GEEK Squad agent myself and it wasn't so easy to get in like it is here lol

  • 100% correct

  • Bashing one company to promote another, eh?

  • That was *very* low-ball, my friend.

  • sucked

  • the 2nd guy in the blue shirt is way hott ;)

  • Funny! Great ad.

  • As if Geek Squad even hires people who are that qualified. Why deal with the hassle. Schrock rocks!

  • LOL great way to make a point.

As far as how well Shrock Innovations goes, they were the only company able to fix my POC Acer. Not even the company that solid it to me could figure out what was wrong with it.

  • Great video! I love the "Geek Force" uniforms.

  • Love it!

I personally worked with Thor during the summer 2008, he is a good man to work with.

He is driven and knows his computers.

  • Waht a clever way to look for employees! Love it!
