THE FACT 2009...LAO GOVERNMENT BECOME THE MOST CORRUPTED STATE IN LAOS...Laos forest only have 35 percent . the wood go to vietnam and thailand ; the money go to lao government pocket . the mining by australia company give lao government 250 million dollars...laos peoples did not get any thing or not benefit anythings...still living poor like 30 years ago....wake up laos peoples ...

@laoxxxiler how do u know that Laos still poor like 30 years before? have u ever tried to visit Laos? Or u just heard from other and saying what they said. In my point of veiw, Laos now has a better life of living. People has more educated, transportations & communication are developed. Open your eyes man, and go visit Laos..

Laotian peoples living conditions are get little better when lao government started open trade market with neighbur country but laos still heavily depend on foreign financial donations . Vientiane or other city may look little bit better but laos economy is not industrialize dependent , rely mostly on farming agriculture with an old age knowledges , school is not upgrade with modern age equipment , hospital is lacking advance skills to take care the patients . there many problem in laos...

@laoxxxiler Agreed. You are so right about the corruption. Just wait and see when they build the dams all over the Mekong. Life is very very slowly getting better. The problem is that every other place moves a a pace that can't be match. Very sad
