@spirit69warrior Music wise, as a black man, he did open doors to the white mainstream closed doors. The Beatles, Elvis, they are considered the best, and so is MJ, it is the masses opinion that counts. MJ is a musical genius, but.. only in music. MLK, is not a fucken musician. he was a world leader for peace and love, and equality. Much bigger than any musician. Even John lennon. In music he did make a difference. I am a fan of his because of what he did, and his genius. Not a blind one.

@squallthegriever My point to you is that the whole jackson family is talented. and it really doesn't matter who out sold who in the family because none of that matters....Latoya helped people like me in ways that michael didnt. thats just my choice but Im not going to say michael is better than her because he was more in the public eye than her which is wrong. as long as the jackson family reached out to someone who couldnt find the way. It doesnt matter who it was

The Jacksons were talented, but they were limited. In the end the main vocals proved to be the leader. He was pushed harder and was able to keep with times, only he is compared to Elvis, and The Beatles. Sorry, again your personal redemption with an artist doesnt make em better or worse. Latoya and Janet copy MJ so much, its not even funny.

Wanna be Starting Something was produced, written, composed, by Michael Jackson. She even herself in a interview they were both in that never came out, but is on youtube ; admits she wants to be just like him. She wanted fame. Look at her song's from the 80's. She has her own version of Bad. Solo career means nothing to COPYING. Not relevant.

How is that copying her? All the jacksons have surgery. They Don't care About Us.. dude military dances are all common and have to look. military duh? @xxLoosyLouxx hmmm even so, Latoya. Janet copied his style much more than one song dance routine. In Nasty, she copied his Beat It, Thriller music theme, and vision. Yes, he was against violence she was against well her song says it, same theme. She following him, Latoya Ganna Get Rocked is a copy of Bad, and Beat It in its own way and she even looks like him more. Doesn't matter, MJ influenced his family, they tried doing alot of the things he did. Not the other way around.

Black Cat concept & changing N2 the panther=Black or White he did the same thing. Love Will Never Do video=In the Closet Rhythm Nation song=Jam song.... Janet is her own artists & So is Michael. @dancehate I highly doubt he was influenced by her just as she was by him. Do you know how much things were copied in the late 80's from MJ? Madonna, and Janet were doing those things. Similarity runs in the family, but MJ was the genius, Janet was very talented. With no MJ no Janet. Yeah maybe he probably saw some things and was influenced, but nowhere the amount of level she was influenced by him.

Songs they liked, i am sure his influenced included his demos he did at home. Thriller, Bad, HIStory were albums he made that i never saw them do before him. Janets form of dancing was like MJ's, but unlke Latoya, janet pulled it off. Haha, MJ was more of a genius than janet. Either way, janet is waaay better than Latoya!

Prince himself, watched two of MJ shows and even the track listing of songs subjects are about the same in Purple Rain as in Thriller. Prince himself wanted to be MJ in his J5 days, both amazing artist. I am not a ignorant biased fan. But seriously, are you kidding me? Most of the Jacksons after Off The Wall and Thriller started to talk and make and look like him as an image. Janet did 2, but she had talent.. influenced by MJ!

yo know.. i have been a little sceptical to latoya since she said those things about mj during the 93-allegations.. and all she said about him! but she made up for it through her music actually, with this song, "home" and "he's my brother".. and when i see her in the times when she was with jack gordon, she seemed so sad at that time.. uncomfortable.

If you haters dislike "non-singers" than I assume you hate Janet as well, who lip synched the entire live in Hawaii concert and sounds like Minnie Mouse doing helium. I love Janet, but let's face it she wouldn't even make it through the auditions on American Idol. Different artists bring different things to the table. Janet is a performer and dancer. Toy has natural charisma and is a great songwriter. Why attack them. Just enjoy them for their own individual gifts.
