I love this movie! One of BW's best.

I wouldn't really call this a trailer though. It is more of a music video/montage. Trailers are usually 90sec- 2 1/2 minutes long and have dialogue/VO's and sound FX in them. I mean, when was the last time you saw a 5 1/2 minute silent trailer?

In terms of editing and scene selection this wasn't bad. But it definately should not be called a trailer. Like I said, it is more of a music video/montage.

You're right, it's not a traditional trailer. But in the sense that the movie's been out since 1996 and already has a trailer, I figured why not try something interesting for the multitudes that haven't even heard of it. Plus the song to me was just so perfect. Check out the trailer to The Last Samurai that was completely silent except for music. That was the inspiration.

I am suprised someone would respond to a 6 month old comment..LOL I completely forgot I made it until I checked my inbox comments folder.

Way back when, I did enjoy the video. The main reason why I commented was because I felt it was labeled wrong. When you have a piece that is 5 plus minutes long that edits to the music, with no soundbytes/VO or sound FX, it is a montage.

So as I said, I did enjoy it way back when I watched it. It just shouldn't be called a trailer in my opinion.

I agree. When I uploaded the video the sound volume was drastically reduced for some reason. I wanted to include the amazing sound effects from the film as well but computer complications prevented it. I'm not making excuses just agreeing. Once my editing rig is up and running again, expect more and better from me.
