Also, Ephesians 4:29 says, "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." I'm definitely guilty of disregarding this verse daily and speaking about unwholesome things, but I'm praying for the Holy Spirit to hold my tongue and mold my heart. I hear ya tfkime...I understand where you're comin from brotha. Slaying evil is definitely what we should do. But we also gotta look at what the rest of the Bible says and who Jesus is. Jesus came down as God in the flesh. 100% man and 100% God. So when He calls someone a fool, I think it's because only God has that place to tell someone whether they're a fool or not. In Matt. 5:22, Jesus tells us that anyone who says, "You fool!" is in danger of the fire of hell.

I've heard the world use this language all my life, and if you see nothing wrong with it, maybe you should stop for a minute and ask the Lord. Rom 14:16. Eph 4:29. would you stand in front of your church body use this term, and I'm curious, do you use all the other expletives because you can find a way to make them positive?

(1) Went for a drive in my car, (2) never thought I'd drive this far, (3) on a gloomy night, no moon, no stars, (4)leading souls to Christ who were lost in the dark.---- Hope this helps. I've been messing with music for a long time. Intsead of length of a verse, a bar is a section that represents a completion of the beat count in a measure.
