St Ives is my favourite place in the world, I have been this summer and I saw loads of seals!! This video brought back so many great memories. Who else loves the Sloop??:)
st ives is one the most magical places i found when i lived in europe.being from brazil myself we do have lovely beaches here but nothing like st ives.the combination of the english architecture, the cafes and restaurants all aroun, the colours, the seagulls, the sound of the waves breaking at shore like a constant mantra and the whole feeling of peace the whole place evocates is just so seductive and enchanting.definetely one of my favourite places in the world.
Went to St Ivesfor the first time this summer and absolutely fell in love with the place. I normally prefer Irish holiday resorts but St.Ives is up there with any of them. I would love a holiday home there.
I love st ives, I'm there twice a year every year =) I always see the same grey seal in the harbour, don't know if it's the same one as this? It was tagged last time I saw it :)
I was with a group of folks in St Ives - true story, I thought one of my mates was at the bottom of the sea. I had the shock of my life when this massive seal shot up and barked at me as I'd kicked it!
@belabambina well i`m pretty sure you suck to, st.ives is amazing, where do you live then . why dont you get back to watching GLEE, haha if my town sucks, then glee defo sucks, and your page says you like glee, so that means your a twat basically. belabambina
thats peir is infact smeatons peir, west peir is the other side next to the lifeboat house. Sammy the seal and relatives have been visiting for decades (obviously not the same one) one day even spotted baby seal with him as well.
mate that was taken of the west pier in stives, i have lived there 13 years and its not as nice as it looks, we jump of that pier and meet u[ with alfie and feed him fish! lol
St ives is THE best place you can go in England without going abroad! been there every year of my life and long may it continue - his names Sammy btw....lol
Brilliant. I've been going there years and I've never seen a seal in the harbour. Saw a basking shark once. My movie from May 2006, 'Seagull Love St Ives' taken from the Blue Fish Cafe above the Sloop car park. (Burnt out in August)
Was there end of aug 06 & saw the same thing. Get down there when the fishing boats come in to see 'em! Your video brought back great memories of St Ives, thanks!
