Great ending .Its good to hear something great happened after the war. These americans are heroes and this is the best story iv heard from the vietnam war. Everyone worked together, the viet and the u.s. And Many lives were saved .These americans are like angels and words cant express how thankful we are . U guys rock!!!!
These Lucky chicken Vietnameses, now , many of them are living overseas. They still kiss the Red VC's ass one way or another! Most of them now resides in "Little Saigon", Orange County of California. They hide out here and want to be known as real Americans- Shame on these people.
These were the chicken Viets (The Lucky Few) who were running away and left millions Viet civilians behind. These Viets later are known as political refugees. The late comers, "Boat People" are seen and discriminated as economic refugees.
Every year on Thanks Giving Day for 25 years since I was approved to settled in the US. I came to my American co-workers whoever I worked with to say THANK YOU and APRECIATE for their help of given me a chance to survise and to live in their country.
I also re-confirm myself again to try to be a good citizen.
Thanks so much America, to give us new life and opportunities to move on. I wasn't on the USS Kirk, wasn't that lucky. I'm a boat people went thru tougher and longer hard times in the South-east Asia.
THANK YOU AMERICANS BIG HEART HAT DOWN TO ALL MAN AND WOMAN IN SERVICE
cause of them I'm still alive today @---}-----------

@henryhuynh2000 No, shame on you. The US government screwed them over and left them all to be massacred. Thank god for the good men of the USS Kirk.
