Any one of you who discount this womans study based on her personal life should read your bible and see how many women with "bad reputations" that the Lord has used.
Yes, Jamesonamac, but those women repented of their sin and followed Christ in obedience. They didn't hide their sin and deny they had done something wrong. There's a valley of difference between repentance and denial.
Her personal life has everything to do with her TEACHINGS about the King James Bible. Don't argue with me about it; go read the Bible and find out what God has to say about the lives of those who teach in the body of Christ. That's the POINT.
What she may have done BEFORE SALVATION definately does not factor in the equation at all. Once you are saved you are FORGIVEN. If God has forgiven her for any mistakes she may have made then why can't other people. You're supposed to follow 1 Corthinians 13. If you have not Charity it porfits you nothing. She genuinely wants to share the truth in love, so stop attacking her.
Her divorces took place AFTER the time she says she was a saved. She said she was saved when she was 26 (1973-74). Both divorces took place AFTER that. Then she lied about the divorces to cover them because she knew they would cause a controversy. The KJV talks about the guidelines for divorce. Please read about it. If you have a problem with her divorces (same as with anyone else who is esteemed as an authority in the church) being discussed, take it up with God. He made the rules.
The New Bible Translations are more correct than the old ones and just about everything Gail Riplinger says in her books, videos and audio's is a Lie. Please Don't be deceived by Gail Riplinger. Gail is slamming God's Holy Word in the new translations. For further info on Gail Riplinger please see:
"God's word never changes." Most likely you mean the KJV here. Which edition of the King James Bible is the right one since, is "God's word"? There have been changes made in the KJV, beginning even in the several years after the KJV translators finished their work in 1611. Which one is right one: The Cambridge, the Oxford, the 1614 revision, the Blayney edition...??? People would like to know.
Gail Riplinger books, videos & audio's contains multiple errors, lies, the majority of which are the gross misquoting of other people. In particular, a large portion of the misquoting is of the Bible, B.F. Wescott and F.J.A. Hort. See her divorces and marriages info.
I suppose you fault Paul the Apostle with being concerned over the personal lives of the false teachers he outed, too, right? I'll let you take that one up with God.
So, you are saying that anyone who uses a version that is not the KJV they are going to go to hell? I warn you that you are teaching another gospel in that and Galatians 1:8-9 has a serious warning for you about that. The ONLY thing that sends anyone to hell is the rejection of the Lord Jesus Christ. That's what the Bible says. You'd do best to ignore the false teachings of Peter Ruckman and whomever else is telling you the KJV (or any other ONE translation) is necessary for salvation.

I know Gail personally, she is a very sweet, Godly lady. I admire her for defending the King James.

Gail Riplinger's writings are a good example of distortion, twisting the facts.
When she went to Kent State she got a degree in interior decorating.
When she taught for a short time at Kent State, it was in the Home Economics department
Gail Riplinger does not have any advanced degrees in Bible, theology.
She has been married 3 times.

The only thing that Gail is slamming is your intellectual ego.
God never changes nour does his word, the new translations removes
64,000 words, and you defend this?
Gail has merely ripped off the lid of this demonic deception and
exposing Satan and his ilk for the liars that they are.
Gail has been under daemonic attacks for her good works, she will
live on for eternity in glory, you will be lost in the pages of
history

Swallowing a camel and choking on a Nat, you're more worried about
this woman's personal life , than the fact of if you change one
word of this Bible, you're in violation of my father's law, I'd
worry more about that and if you stands behind the NIV Bible you
will find yourself in the line of the wicked , you will find this
hanging about your neck as a portrait of who you are, remember
every word you utter will be shouted from the rooftops

You would do well to be careful how you judge other people's salvation when you have no Scripture to back yourself.
