I know cats can land on their feet even from higher ledges if they know it's coming. I doubt a cat would land perfectly on its feet if you threw it down a flight of stairs. xD

But I've definitely seen some fall over themselves because of missing a step on the stairs :) I would hope no one would actually chuck their cat off the top step though 0.0"

@smartndumb101 ....i dunno...my friend was trying to get their cat out of the bath tub when giving their baby sister a bath, and so they picked up their cat and threw it out the bathroom door eve so gently, forgetting the staircase was there....It missed every step, hit the floor, slid and slammed into the wall face first.....it was unconscious so they took it to the vet only to find out he was fine, just knocked out.....they told my friend to keep him away from the bath/staircase after though..

My boyfriend's mom has several rats and one mom had about twelve babies who were still pretty small and another who had babies who were about twice the size of an adult mouse. We put one of the bigger babies on the top of the bigger cage where the smaller cage with the mom of the smaller babies was and she tried to steal him, and he was almost too fat for her to get into the cage. She got him eventually and he started to snuggle with the smaller ones. I have his hairless sister.
