  • My dog's name is Mr. Magoo!

  • "Roadhog!" Gotta respect Jim Backus.

  • imagin if he ran over fat albert

  • I told my wife that she was driving like this tonight...

  • I searched "Obama presidential documentary".......

  • Ah, Quincy.

  • I can understand how making fun of someone with poor vision can be insensitive, but it's also a joke on his character. Magoo is blind to his own eyesight, which is why he can never admit, or realize, that he needs glasses.

On the other hand, I've always loved Magoo, especially his zest for life. Besides, how many cartoons star senior citizens.

  • I love MAGOO!!...I only wish he COULD DO IT AGAIN...2012 style...

  • America was a great place before the politically correct buffoons ruined it.

  • I catched Mr.Magoo today and punished him for his ruthless driving, i threw his hat into a dirty puddle of radioactive, chemtrail contaminated and stinky rain. And this footage is not very up to date, his car is white!

  • @EnergyOM HAHAHAHA! EPIC!

  • My mum thinks I'm Mr. Magoo, all the trouble I cause and getting away from it unharmed lol

  • ROADHOG!!

I think Mister Magoo is distantly related to Ron Paul, does anyone know for sure?

  • Comment removed

  • Yep you did and I laughed my ass off :-)

  • THEY'LL RAPE ME

  • Classic.

The pre-runner to grumpy old men.

  • Oh wow, this was one cooool cartoon show. Predictable, sure, but funny. BTW, does anyone know what that sound is at 0.25 when he runs into the electrical equipment? Always wondered if that was a dog barking backwards or something like that. Thanks for posting.

  • LOL - I remember this also - my mom HATED Mr. Magoo. Lmao.

  • Why didn't i have this when i grew up... (1995 and hate spongebob)

  • Omg, I remember this :D

  • in omaha Nebraska,

this show is called the mayor jim suttle show and not just because suttle looke a bit like mr. magoo

  • This should be a PSA on revoking the licenses of senior citizens.

  • Is Mr. Magoo really Chinese?

  • @ANinja11 No, Mr. Magoo Is near sighted. He can't see for shit.

  • Of course, we never get to see Mr. MaGoo, because it's not P.C. It makes fun of the blind and the Chinese. Nothing like censuring America's cultural past for present sensibilities.

  • wow, use to watch these back in the 60's when i was a little fellow. what nice memories and a great time to be a kid.

  • Boy do I remember these! I cant believe they have him driving into a bunch of high voltage crap in the beginning there. HaH! WTF! Crazy stuff!

  • Ohhh Magoo you've done it again...

  • My nick name was mr. Magoo when I was a little kid(:

  • my dad (who watched this when he was little) said that this is really making fun of handicapped old people, but yet when he was younger, this was just hilarious!

  • this is my middle name...is that bad?

  • wow is this innocent compared to the crap nowadays. man am i happy im not a kid now

  • Aries Spears!

  • Mr. Magoo theme

  • I remember my parents renting the tapes of these and me watching them as a little kid!! It's been so long!! I would laugh my head off each time I watched Mr. Magoo!!

  • Graduate of Rutgers University.

  • we all had someone like Magoo in the family.an those 20 that didn't like, put the lead paint down an back away.

  • THIS is the opening I remember. The openings they show on "Totally Tooned In" and as filler on Saturday morniings on RTV aren't the same at all, except for the part where he looks through the "OO" at the end of "Magoo"...

  • Unfortunately nowadays a cartoon like this is seen as "offensive to senior citizens with disabilities" and therefore politically incorrect... Why does nobody have a sense of humor anymore?

  • Great cartoon,,we always watched this,,,the kids today should have stuff like this

  • mr magoo is straight up gangsta

  • My boss is a literal clone of Mr Magoo....

right down to the bad driving skills and not being able to see

  • The original idea behind Magoo was that he KNEW he was nearsighted, but nobody was going to tell him he wasn't seeing what he THOUGHT he was seeing [animator John Hubley based him on a bullheaded uncle of his].

  • 0:02 ROAD HOG :D

  • ROAD HOG!!! Gotta love it:):):)

  • AWESOME, so friggin CLASSIC. Love Mr. Magoo and his jalopy... was it a Ford Model T or a Stanley Steamer? No matter what, Mr. Magoo always had a valid driver's license. LOL

  • ROAD HOG!

  • Oh, Magoo! You've done it again!

Actually the worst drivers tend to have perfect vision.

  • In going beyond mere narratives to exploring the individualism of his persona, Magoo helped move beyond the narrow comedic conventions of the Saturday morning cartoon that it spoofs, which consists of straightforward slapstick of a series of acts that redound to the idiotic foibles of the hero.

  • 17089234000 free hot phone zeks

  • I remember watching mr. magoo as a child. I used to feel sorry for him though because he reminded me of a little baby that couldn't see. Needless to say, I didn't watch him that much.

  • he's exactly like lindsay lohan!

  • @gpappyavnub LIES. Mr. Magoo does not make one want to shoot ones self in the face.

  • @gpappyavnub LMAO

  • @gpappyavnub

His name is Quincy. That can't be no coincendence!

  • Magoo is a ruthless cunt

  • oh magoo you have done it again ;)

  • klassik magik!!!!

  • typical newfie driver in fort mcmuray

also typical covearall driver in fort mcmurray

also typical syncrude driver in fort mcmurray

infact anybody who drives in fort mcmurray

should have their driver liscences removed

because they are all on drugs thet would

    all fail the pisss test

  • How did Junior Soprano get his own cartoon? LOL the Season 1 reference to Junior as Mr. Magoo in the Sopranos.

  • Look who I found!

  • Oh Magoo You've done it again. Mr. Magoo you are the man.

  • I got mr magoo on DVD.

  • Whatever happened to a sunday drive? I guess this is one helluva sunday drive

  • ROAD HOG!

  • Kids need cartoons like this not talking sponges or alien transforming children. NO! none of that bullshit kids need REAL cartoons

  • @MsMirandaXoxo amen to that.

  • @MsMirandaXoxo What would you say if I told you Mr. Magoo was getting a new cartoon on Disney XD called Kung-Fu Magoo?

  • @MsMirandaXoxo actually I thought ben 10 and spongebob squarepants were some of the better cartoons of the 00s. But yeah, I'd love to see this on TV.

  • @MsMirandaXoxo I love you so much! hahahahahahha! No talking sponges, no alien transforming kids, no teenagers with arms of steel and metal, no kids living in a whale's mouth, no talking shushies, no child brothers inventing weird things in summer. :)

  • @MsMirandaXoxo cartoons aren't the real world anyways DUHHHHHHHHHHHHH.....

  • @MsMirandaXoxo Talking sponges? Alien-transforming children? Where did you get that?

  • @MsMirandaXoxo Spongebob was the shit... what are you talking about

  • @MsMirandaXoxo alien transforming children what show are you taling about

  • @spider19990506 Ben 10.

  • @nightzeroAX oh man i feel stupid right now

  • @MsMirandaXoxo Lot kids seem to love the talking sponges and transforming robot stuff man. I know as a kid growing up in the 90's, I loved shows from the 90's and honestly, I don't like cartoons like this. Their old, a little stale, and I'm not from that generation so I wouldn't get much of it.

Different generations love different things. Deal with it.

  • @MsMirandaXoxo i hate kids shows these days, but seriously? Kids need cartoons about Blind Old Men causing accidents? That just perpetuates the idea that old people should drive. Late 80's and Early 90's cartoons are where it is at.

  • Mr. Magoo will air on RTV in October

  • @disneygurls246345

Wow what is a 10 year old ghost going to do to me, kick me in the balls?

  • LOL

  • Ill never forget when I found out that Mr Howell on "Gilligans Island" was also "Mr Magoo". I thought I discovered a big secret and I told my momma and daddy at the supper table. They asked me.. you mean Jim Backus? ..I just said Mr Magoo is Mr Howell. Im 52 years old now, and to this day Ill never forget one of my first reading assignements... see who else you can find in cartoons that are TV and movie stars.

Crying shame Hollywood and New York City define family now.

  • It fuckin rocks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • - I absolutely forbid you to drive

    - Why?

    - Because you drive like Mr. Magoo

    LOL :D

  • Mr. Magoo has good luck on his side, even if he's blind as a bat.

  • Brings tears to my eyes! Funniest stuff--Jim Backus was a genius!

  • Lol.

  • When I heard they were making a Mr. Magoo movie,I'd hoped they'd recreate this.

When I heard they cast Leslie Nielsen,I didn't even go near the theater.

  • @ctdsnark , there is only one voice for MR. Magoo. Jim Backus may he Rest In Peace. No one could take his place if they made new cartoons of MR. Magoo it just wouldn't be the same.

  • i cant go to jail they'll rape me and i wont see'em coming no i wont

  • great cartoon.

  • So Magoo is near-sighted which means he can see but not really well? Like the way you see when youre not wearing glasses?

  • @AustinTaylor9 Yeah, he's meant to have bad eye-sight, and be too full of himself to wear glasses. :)

  • @DJVinneh Thanks for the advice.

  • This is the theme I remember. I always crack up when he runs through the barn, and the chickens cackle, then, when he ended up on the rollercoaster, and how the one woman screamed. LOL! Hilarious!

  • Mr Magoo kind of looks like John McCain.

  • ROAD HOG!

  • We had a different theme over here in France, but that one's even better!

  • I used to play Mr.Magoo as a kid going thru the house i acted like him.

  • my husband says I drive like this!!!

  • So, just kicked Magoo onto my 1963 playlist, one of 100 for each of the past 100 years. Your mouse can take you to the sounds of any year in the past right now . . . . . . . .

  • BTW, that Leslie Nielsen remake was an abomination. LOL!!!

  • Note to DonMeaker:

    ROFLMBAO!!

  • always liked these sloppy but colorfull cartoons ha ha ha what a lovable comic assen magoo was. I heard he is sarah palin's chief speech writer

  • Note to AustinTaylor9:

    No, not blind, m8..

    But *terribly, terribly myopic*..

So that's *close*; I should know..In school they called *me* "Magoo" because I was *too damn proud* to wear glasses--even though I needed Coke, Pepsi, *AND* Royal Crown bottle-bottom lenses.

Now, my conferes have the gall to call me "Stevie Wonder" or "Daredevil"..

    Where's the *love?!?*

Ennyroad, thanx fer this clip, m8's..

    Jim Backus, R.I.P.

  • It's Tiger Woods

  • Magoo's not blind?

  • mr magoo is awesome!!!baby!!

  • loved mr. magoo!!!

  • That's how I learned that expression as a kid.

Where I live (about 20 miles north of Philly), we have more than our share, especially those who insist in sitting in the right-side gutter while waiting to make a left turn!

  • Well, he is the nephew of Tycoon Magoo...

  • ooooohh magoo youve done it again

  • My life in 30 seconds!!

  • Ohhh Rutgers... haha!

  • also voice of the great jim backus

  • ROAD HOG!!!....OH Magoo You've Done It Again.

Classic cartoon, great memories from a great man "Jim Backus RIP.

  • one of my dearest friends is nearsighted even with glasses and he calls himself mr. magoo because he always bumps into things and is afraid to drive at night, this is pure comedy and it is very healing to laugh.

  • If your blind how could you watch this

  • @Milohector Exactly. Also, how can you know what people are saying and posting on this board, to know they're even laughing... if you are SUPPOSEDLY blind?? Stupid shittalker.

    Good eye, Milo. ;)

  • but "mineisbigger" is okay, doesn't offend anyone? Grow up! this cartoon came from back when Americans had a sense of humor, a thicker skin, and didn't go running and crying every time someone said something in humor. And Good for YOU Milohector, same thing I said.

  • He's not blind, he's nearsighted and refuses to wear glasses.

  • Yeah. That's why I think the Disney movie based on this series is wrong. They act as if he's completely blind at times, when he's not.

  • only near-sighted

  • I know, but in the movie they make it seem like he's blind.

  • If you're blind then how come you watched the video?

  • I just have to clean off the screen after leaving too many nose prints.

  • LMAO!

  • what yall kno bout mr magoo!

  • Some might say I'm a liberal communist asshole., but really Im only probably a socialist pinko at the most cause I believe in owning guns, death penalty, and stopping immigration. But I also believe in freedom of choice, medical insurance for all, and the green house affect.

But one thing for sure I believe in is Mr Magoo, The Three Stooges and all cartoons till 1975. Hee hee

  • The sad thing is that Magoo became president of the United States, unable to see anything and not knowing what the hell he was doing .

Does anyone remember the Mr. Magoo serious animated dramas based on classic literature?

  • I can't believe how much arguing insues over a fucking cartoon. Kids were WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better before all this politicaly correct non-sense. So what's REALLY to blame?

  • @schultz970 you mean in the 40's?

  • @marnerbroman no i don't

  • @schultz970 because that when cartoons got away witha lot

  • @marnerbroman I'm not all for hurting peoples feelings or getting them into an uproar it just seems that people get way to nuts over something that does'nt amount to much. Yes, in the 40's and earlier some cartoons were pretty harsh at the way they portrayed black people etc. But I've never heard anyone get offended over Homer Simpson or Peter Griffin being white buffoons.

  • @schultz970 Read their respective forums: Homer branded as an idiot and peter is branded "The worst Dad ever"

  • @marnerbroman and yet...I'm not offended.

  • @schultz970 ok. The point I going across is:Different times mean different rules.

  • @marnerbroman and the point I'm trying to get across is how silly it is that people fight so intensely on youtube over a cartoon. And how sensitive people have become. Instead of saying, "I'm not gonna let this bother me. I won't portray MYSELF like that and maybe others will think differently." No. People are becoming too thin skinned and it's making them less than what they could be.

  • @schultz970 not what....its WHO!

  • @mickdudeboy9 ....agreed

  • @schultz970 probably the people who think what they're doing is for the benefit of the kids by getting them to see the world as it really is and not how it really should be.

  • @schultz970

Well said! I'll tell you what's to blame: POLITICAL CORRECTNESS, that's what, as I'm sure you know.

  • Comment removed

  • @n8tureboy I watched this cartoon hundreds of times as a child. I NEVER made fun of blind people because I knew the difference between reality and a TV show.Yes my friend, you're exactly right.Political correctness. Well...I ain't runnin' for office so to all the people who also tell me I'm supposed to say 'happy holidays'...I'd like to bid a resounding MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

  • @schultz970

MERRY CHRISTMAS to you good sir! And God bless you as well.

  • That was a trip,I haven't seen this in forty years...'ROAD HOG!!!" LOL

  • My point was that "Menamebephil" got very easily offended over something and then you automatically assumed that he was liberal because of that

I pride myself on being liberal and don't see it as a bad thing, but you cant really go on a semi-rant about calling us assholes just because one guy who may not even be liberal is missing a backbone and can't appreciate history (Menamebephil)

  • oh shut up, dont tar this with the politics brush just because someone was easily offended

  • And did Leslie Nielson do ANY of this in that piece-of-sh*t movie he made?!?

  • Mr Magoo you done it again!

They cancelled this cartoon because censorship said it was making cruel fun of near sighted people

I didnt find anything wrong with it myself it was hilarious why dont they cancel Porky Pig he was making fun of people who stutter and he still on tv!

    THANKS FOR POSTING!

  • classic!

  • i have like vcr tapes of this its the best i like the like chinese guy

  • Erm, he isn't blind. Just very reduced vision.

He often read signs and open his eyes in the cartoon, so I think you got it all wrong.

  • Some people can find fault and problems in the most innocent and simple things. As for your comment, "A simpler time, I think, and not necessarily a better one", you don't know what you're talking about. I'd rather live back then than in this shit we live in now.

  • My late big brother loved this cartoon...

    RIP

  • roflmfao that was superb
