    這段「江兒水」唱詞優美，乃是牡丹亭尋夢一折的高潮，此時麗娘已­知無法再見夢中秀才，心情亦由尋夢轉變為尋死，張志紅演來不慍不­火，扮像清麗，作功細膩，悲歌呼喚中仍不失昆曲閨門旦應有的典雅­，實在是難能可貴，祖師爺眷顧，不愧有“天下第一夢“的美譽。
