the simpel solution : grow your own. eat localy. it helps support your local economy and reduces the amount of energy used on geting your food to you. it make your food that much safer by limiting not only the amount of consumers exposed but also being in a location close to the farmer, you can talk to the growers and understand how much if any pestacides/chemical fertilizers are being used on your food. yes i realize organic ferts helped cause this problem, but by inproper use of them.
