  • WOW this brings back memories of the skating ring! I should have done more actual skating! I got to the recognizer round, only to have them decimate me. :|

  • am I on crack, but, I didn't see the Recognizers,

I still love this game to death, I've always been horrible at though. It took me eons even to get past the first level. When I finally did, I jumped up and down and I accidentally hit my head on the machine and kinda, almost broke it.

    true story, that is..oh well.

  • Holy cow, it's been a year :O Came back to comment after seeing the TR2N footage from Comic-Con...and I'm still amazed you got through the Recognizers! I only saw them ONCE as a 14-year-old punk in 1982, so it's awesome to see that level again now at 40.

    Wow...we're getting old, eh? :(

  • What arcade was this filmed at?

  • I never got to that level, either...and you make it look so easy. Although--you almost bought the farm with the Recognizers :D

  • Yes! The second to the last one got WAY too close! Can you also hear the frantic tapping of the trigger button before the Grid Bug action starts? Playing while leaning around a tripod is really the only way to play an arcade game.....or not.

  • ahahahha...I nearly tipped over a Gorf game once while leaning on the joystick during the Space Invaders attack. Totally understand :D

  • That Journeys 90s theme was a good touch

  • haha I noticed that, too

  • Wow, I never got to those levels as a kid. Pretty impressive.

  • Nicely done! Here's a tip to allow you to skip the earlier levels: Press Player 1 Start and then switch the coin-op into test mode at the level 1 rack. Press the Player 2 button to advance to the next level. Then, switch back out of test mode to continue playing. :]

  • Doh! I wish I'd have known that when I was trying to play through with a stupid camera in the way! Haha! It is surprisingly difficult to play a game without bumping the tripod thats blocking your view. Kinda like that one little kid in the arcade that would stick his face too near the screen when you were approaching a high score moment!

  • You know, I only found out about that a year ago. I found it by accident while searching the manual for info on how to fix the rear ballist. I know what you mean about the arcade 'kid' thing. Especially when they're hopping up and down, cuz they're too short to see the screen. :]

  • Hey, now, i was one of those kids, but i learned early on machine ettiquette, and new to keep quiet and out of the way.
