@o0jun0o im about ur size the only thing u might have to get done is get the bike lowered a lil cuz as u see wit the guy in the video the bike actually has high sitting position.. so u wont be flat footed at ur height..
okay for you noobies if you want a true sport bike thats the ONLY THING YOU CAN GET IS A 600 if your not ready for it theres no getting around it unless you want a 250 kawa ninja but my motocross bike could smoke that piece of shit
would an R6 be a good bike for somebody that has a little bit of riding experience? im looking into getting an R6 and i dont know if its too much to handle for a beginner or not. thanks
im busy with my license at the moment. Have been asking other friends about the same thing. Most of them say it shouldn't have to be a problem.
As far as I know there are no major differences between bikes, but i do think weight and power are important. Double ur own weight and u know the aproximate weigh of bike thats best for you. Still down know? Rent a r6 from somewhere and take a ride:)
I just sold an R6 2006 to be exact and that was my first bike and i never laid it down, so if you're SMART and not on a i want to STUNT and do wheelies and wear your gear you should be fine...
I have a 2009 R6 straight off the dealership lot. I have zero regrets. I've rode dirtbikes for like 1 year, but after the MSF course. I was nervous, but the bike is great. If you're not a moron, and try to push yourself past your limits an r6 is 100% fine for a beginner. Dont let these old guys tell you that you should start on a 250. You're only as dangerous as you want to be.
I really like how this bike and want to get 1 but i am not sure if i should. Looks dam sexy and fast but is it really good for the price? y is it call the R6 and not its full name and what R6 means? i know i really know very little. well i guess what i am asking is what do u look for when ur looking for a bike.
The R basically means Racing. The 6 refers to the 600cc engine displacement. the 1 is a 1000cc engine displacement. the bigger the engine, the faster it goes, but the R6 is lighter and a little bit more agile.
Personally, I believe the R6 is more power than you need for day to day use. the R1 is just excessive but hey i'm not stopping you from getting one. personal preference i guess.
I would probably stick with 600cc bikes. it's more than i'll ever need.
I c~ thank u so much that really help me out alot but i was hoping u could tell me what to look for when ur about to buy a bike for all environments. city, country, racing, and mix.
the r6 isn't the best day to day bike seeing the power band really doesn't come in till 9-10k...if its your first bike and r6 is fine, if not get a liter bike...
i see that a lot of bikes on the road only have one headlight on. Is this a new feature for bikes for day time driving or something?? or is the light just burnt out?
It's all a driver's race I think. they all perform nearly identicle and differ by a hair line. I just like the R6 look better than the CBR b/c the R6 has more natural sharp looking curves. Unlike the CBR, they have too much decals on it, such as the fake flames. makes it look a little cheap. in my opinion that is. the R6 stands higher than the CBR tho. so if you're a short rider, go with the R6.
Whats ur weight and heiht

Hey Kneecapper10, the light that's always on acts as a low beam DRL (daytime running light). the other light can be turned on but it's high beams.
