Thanks Loyd for this video. I had this album when it was first released. It sure sounds better in your video than it did on my '56 Webcor portable I had at the time. I have forgotten how good it sounded for a budget release. I'll to keep an eye out for it the next time I go to a used record store.
It would be great to see and hear that 56 Webcor if you still have it!! Thank you for listening to this vintage LP record, and have a Happy Holiday Season just ahead...Friends, Lloyd.
@lrh1966 Lloyd - Unfortunately I no longer have the 56 Webcor Holiday. In 1959, it was replaced by a 59 component system with a Garrard RC88 changer with the famous GE VR II mono and GE Golden Classic stereo cartridge, which was gentler on the records than the Webcor. I currently have 54 Webcor Holiday on my channel which is very close to what the 56 Webcor sounded like. - Ray
Many of these Tops releases were just great. While they were a low budget label I find the fidelity of the pressings always top-notch. This recording is very enjoyable! What a gorgeous cover and colors!

This is an education. I never heard of Tops other than baseball cards (Topps).
This overature is longer and more complete than the original .

I noticed the longer overture as well, compared to the original Columbia record production. Thank you for checking it out...Friends, Lloyd.
