Some people do not think that we should refer to Jamaicans as our brothers with the example that the English and the Germans don't do that. I think that is a good example of mental slavery. Referring to people close to you as brothers is a very Igbo thing (and I believe it's the same in all of Africa). Why should we copy the Europeans? Do you and be proud of you or see a psychiatrist.
