How did the refs miss THREE blocks in the back? First one was at :04 at the 50 when Zibby had just caught the ball. A bit tick- tack, but I've seen it called before. Then at :06 at the 46 yard line. There's no excuse. Although the ND player is trying to prevent it from being a blatant foul by putting his arms up. Then at :07 at the 48 yard line at the bottom of the screen is the worst of the bunch. Pretty obvious this TD should have been called back. Whatever, USC won in the end.

You always know when things are going Notre Dame's way at home when they return a punt or kickoff for a score. Its happened in so many big games: 1989 michigan, 2000 nebraska, 2005 usc,
At this point during the game, I thought ND was unstoppable and that we were going to win. Either way, this game is a very close second to ND-FSU in 1993 in terms of the greatest game in history.
Look at the quality of those graphics compared to the crap we have now. Also, the jingle at the end is sooo much better than the one they put in at the start of the 2006 season. After 2005, ND games became really boring to watch (especially if they are playing North Carolina or Navy) and I think it has to do with the fact that the graphics are crap and we have to listen to Tom Hammond and Pat Hayden too much. NBC has really gone down the toilet in quality.

UM is always at their best when they're best when they are underrated so that is good, and for them to be at 25 is cool because they will get on to 10-2, while ND will have to worry about USC putting up 50 on them!
What a shock...the Domer refs swallowed their whistles on that play. Clearly at least one block in the back penalty that wasn't called around the 50 yard line and maybe another before. Forget TD Jesus, the Golden Dome and all the other Irish hokum they play up about South Dump, it's the refs that are the biggest factor in ND's favor.

yea the theme that nbc put in beginning with the 06 season sucks. i wish they would keep the same graphics as well. i hate those sunday night football graphics they use for nd games.

If you were a recruit trying to decide where you want to go why would you go to a shitty team with a fat ass coach in freezing weather out in the middle of fucking nowhere? dont forget the landslides, earthquakes, unrivaled gang violence and how half of California seems catch on fire once a month. Not to forget the hypocrite celebrities that fly around in gulf stream jets then tell us how badly we're hurting the environment. Also pretty sure New York is the #1 media outlet. But I guess to Californians, the "world" is the state boundary. LA is a urine-soaked hell-hole and you cant even see the sky half the time cuz of the smog..yeah, great place to live.

At this point during the game, I thought ND was unstoppable and that we were going to win. Either way, this game is a very close second to ND-FSU in 1993 in terms of the greatest game in history.

Look at the quality of those graphics compared to the crap we have now. Also, the jingle at the end is sooo much better than the one they put in at the start of the 2006 season. After 2005, ND games became really boring to watch (especially if they are playing North Carolina or Navy) and I think it has to do with the fact that the graphics are crap and we have to listen to Tom Hammond and Pat Hayden too much. NBC has really gone down the toilet in quality.

UM is always at their best when they're best when they are underrated so that is good, and for them to be at 25 is cool because they will get on to 10-2, while ND will have to worry about USC putting up 50 on them!

What a shock...the Domer refs swallowed their whistles on that play. Clearly at least one block in the back penalty that wasn't called around the 50 yard line and maybe another before. Forget TD Jesus, the Golden Dome and all the other Irish hokum they play up about South Dump, it's the refs that are the biggest factor in ND's favor.
