  • how long did it take to get that strong?

  • Holy crap do you live in coral springs florida?!

  • @pinky7896 Nah I live in California =]

  • i swear that looks like a "run from the cops" training lmao!

  • Dude....nice!

  • The strength this lil guy has comes from God if you are to give your life to him u will be filled with strength

  • Dude you are AMAZING. I am currently trying to workout and get strong like you, but its a very difficult process. After years of bad diet and low activity I gained alot of weight. Well I am turning it around, already down 40 lbs and got another 60 to go. Then I cant wait to start getting ripped like you =) This video is so motivating, definitely 5/5 and will be watching it for tips and more motivation! Keep rocking man!

  • Excellent

  • Wow, that's an awesome workout! But I have a question. . . where does someone without super human strength start to get to that level??? I would love to attain that level of fitness, but where would I start!?!? I cant just jump in doing clap pull-ups, lol! I'll bust my face wide open! lmao

  • @Face4Media start with regular pushups, and gradually try other push ups such as: clap push ups, diamond pushups, lateral push ups, aligator pushups. and if u cant do pull ups use a chair to give u a little help till u can do them without help

  • I don't consider my strength "super human." It just takes consistent hard work and dedication. I started off just like everyone else. At a young age I just did pushups, situps and body weight rows. That's it. From them on I progressed to weight training and other methods. The years of earlier training helped build a solid foundation for my "endurance based" training.

  • If strength is really what you want. Lift heavy. Focusing on 3-5 sets of 3-5 reps of any type of exercise. Lifting about 80% or higher of your max. High repetition will not get you stronger but build more endurance. I've learned this through experience and also science/research confirms this. Even though I was able to crank out 225 pushups in a row when I was 15. My max bench was about 90lbs. There is definitive correlation between endurance training and heavy lifting.

  • @zabinjay actually 6-8 reps is more standard...

  • ...dude...with the way you talk and the way you train...you are without a doubt a DINOSAUR! :)

Brooks Kubik and all of the old fashioned strongmen would be proud.

  • i just watched your other vids. very good display of old school functional strength. you're sure as hell not a bodybuilder. i'm just curious though...how many pounds is your grip strength? it's gotta around 250, no doubt.

  • @docdoom187

I'm not really sure how I would test it. It's not that great really. =]

  • good job : )

  • I'm 23, and I'm 150lb!!! I just do Krav Maga and TKD, but I don't do workouts like that though. I figured you'd weigh more then you do. Bad ass video

  • AWSOME tranning

  • 1;41 OMG

  • HATS OFF TO YOU

  • hey thats liberty park!!! off studebaker...i go runnin and exercise there...man my goal is to build strength like that....

  • this guy is amazing

  • Man that video is sick bro 8) You are way athletic then i pictured u. That was really entertaining to watch. Cheers my friend ;)

  • dud thats crazy

  • It's motivating watching this video, especially with the progress you have made from your old video (I don't think it's on here anymore). Anyway keep it up, good shit mate.

  • Actually this is my first video lol.

My new one is the Max Strength Video which I uplaoded about 3 months ago =].

I'm making a new video next month which will be a continuation to my max strength video. Will probably be up around July =]

  • Motivating to see your improvement from the old video to this. So, just letting you know this video motivated me!

  • I don't bookmark too many YouTube exercise videos, but yours are "keepers"!

  • I did get a couple exercises from reading his books but the workouts are not based off his workouts.

  • How tall are you? 5'3?

  • I"m about 5'6 or so

  • You don't feel that lifting weights or working out as a young kid stunted your growth?

  • Nope. Both my parents are shorter than me. It's genetics.

There haven't been any research to actually prove that weight training stunts your growth. It's all speculation and assumptions.

I know people who weight trained since they were kids also and are over 6 feet.

Exercise strengthens your bones, tendons and muscles.

I have not read any valid scholarly journals that have actually found any correlation of weight training and growth stunting.

  • Oh. Wouldn't working out since you were a lad mess with your vertical growth? Because if throughout your entire life your body is recovering from workouts and not using the food you eat to increase your height it just uses it to repair your muscles. That was worded weird as fuck. Hope you get the gist of what im trying to say. Its been bothering me for awhile. I've been weight lifting since I was 14ish and I'm 17 now. Only about 5'7.5 5'8. Considering to stop working out so I can grow.

  • It's all speculation my friend.

There have been no proof of it at all. There are people in other countries who don't eat for days or even weeks and just survive off water and they grow. Using malnutrition as an argument for growing doesn't make sense.

Your CNS is programed to transfer information effectively and using the logic of using your source of food to recover from workouts and not use it for growing doesn't make sense.

  • You can state that Junk Food and Fast food stunts your growth based on your logic. There are barely any nutrition in those foods. Yet people in America eat that junk and wonder why they are obese.

Fast Food & Junk food there is research that agree they are horrible for your body.

Exercise has been correlated with numerous of benefits and research has confirmed that.

Growing has to do with genetics and not exercise. As I stated before exercise strengthens your bones, tendons and muscles.

  • If your body can not adapt to exercise your body will automatically shut off on you. This is called over training.

When your body can not catch up to what you output in exercise. You will feel it. You will know when you are over training. You get weaker, feel more tired and your motivation will decrease.

  • Well you obviously know more about the subject than I do. I was just worried I had stunted my growth. Thanks, oh and impressive video.

  • Thanks!

Hope you enjoyed my other video's also. =]

  • dude join the army

  • I like your style.

Good workout, I'm glad I'm not alone in the world with training functional fitness...

  • om ur triple claps are awesome

  • Your like a child climbing all over the place lol, very active

    Nice vid

  • nice work

lol you would be good at parkour maybe. look it up sometime :P

  • you should try rock climbing.

  • Verry impressive.

    Thanks for your comment, Dude.;-)

  • Well done. Once again, your a reminder that i am not there yet. Great strength amigo

  • Animal

  • Good shit homie keep it up

  • good work man, love outdoor exercises, you are in a great shape, will use your exercises.

  • Love the way you train.. Thats how i train!! :D

  • Your are very amazing man. I have a question for you, did th dips help you to get so much strentgh ? :D

  • Yes I believe the dips did help me with my strength gains. It helped me achieve stronger pressing movements. I have done weighted dips for reps up to 135lbs. But I haven't done them in awhile. I always switch up my exercises for variety to shock my muscles. =]

  • Okay thank you much for answering =)

  • Can u show me some tips on how to achieve the triple clap push up?

  • Can you do a single or a double? If not start on that first.

If you can't do either. Focus on speed when you do pushups. Push as hard as you can. After awhile you will be able to do a single.

After you master the explosion part (pushing yourself up in the air as hard as possible) try practicing the motion standing up. That helped me achieve the double and triple.

Hopefully that helps you out. Take care =]

  • i'm able to do front clap push ups but i couldn't do the back clap one yet! i think after i master the back clap then the triple clap will be possible, i tried to push myself up hard to do the back clap but not successful yet. So do u think the best way for me is just keep trying until i master the back clap?

    Thanks!

  • You need to practice on speed. Trying pushing yourself up fast with just regular pushups. Also try spreading your legs out. That helps a lot. You can put your legs closer after you get better to increase the difficulty.

  • wow- some killer exercise in that workout!!

  • big wow

  • Dam man, this is the sick, i see guys telling people pull ups and crap work but for some reason your vid seems more appealing. i feel like getting a chin up bar so badly now

  • 2 finger pull ups dammmmmmmmmm

  • Very nice work, keep it up :)

  • Great workout Zab. Impressive routine, keep up the good work.

  • wow man your jacked, Is there anything your training for? or just physical health.

  • Well I train to get stronger and stronger.

I"m planning to take BJJ or Boxing when I have more free time. I'm currently full time at school and part time at my job. =]

  • My bro.. Kudos to you. May you achieve all your dreams.. continue training hard as well as setting an example for the youth today.. they need it. Peace... and Positive vibes

    d

  • Any leg strength ?

  • Yes I do =]

Will post another video after I complete this goal I've been working on.

  • your like a fuckin monkey ! im impressed ha

  • good work bro, keep it up.

    2 finger pull up, wow!

  • Inspiration. Thanks for the video man, keep it up, achieve your goal and MORE! =)

  • That's some intense stuff there!

  • What you do is awesome man, the work behind this must be that hard ..

dragon flag, human flag, hardcore pullups/pushups and all ...

do you train legs too ?

  • Yes I do train legs. I will post another video sometime during the summer. I will post some leg training also.

I wanted to accomplish one more goal before I show another video on how I improved in one year. =]

After this goal is completed I will post up another video.

  • Ok man that's cool :D

Another goal ? Omg I'm impatient to check it :P

  • 1:58 O.o

  • Great clip

  • Damn you suck...

    lol, obviously im joking

  • Behind the back push ups-Outstanding. A lot of good stuff going on with this video, you obviously have been working very hard.

    Are you playing any sports?

  • Thanks

I'm currently not. I'm planning to pick up amateur boxing when I'm free.

Just busy with school and work at the moment.

  • DUDE YOU ROCK!!!!!!Good stuff man,keep it up>:)

  • If I could just ask you a personal question, have you ever poked someone's eyes out with your pecks?

I mean holy cow, you could probably grate cheese with your sixpack and I wouldn't be surprised if someone mistook one of your calves for a baby cow. Really good job bro.

  • Good upper body strength, very impressive.

Keep up the great work bro.

  • This is still the most inspirational video I have seen. On the days I don't wanna workout, I watch this, suck it up and get to training.

  • Thanks for the kind words.

I'm planning to make another video sometimes during the summer again to show how much I've improved since last year. =]

  • how old are ya ?

  • 23 years old currently =]

  • great work out . very impressive

  • great training! how short are u?

  • Thanks =]

ehh.. not sure about 5'6" 5'7ish. It's been forever since I measured my height hehe.

  • i have seen many men who can lift alot of weight..but the strength you possess and your determination make the gym look pretty boring..i love your vision and adaptability, good work champ.

  • good training.

you need to work on not bending your back inwards while doing the ab rolls.

It will really mess up yhou lower back and spine.

    good work though

  • Thanks!

Yeah I noticed it when I watched it last year after I made it. But I never felt anything on my back or any pain.

Now it's straighter, it took me awhile to find the right technique.

My next video will show a one hand without assistance =O

  • Dang thats tight. Looks like a lot of work. Good job.

  • Congrats on 10k + views =)

  • power, strenght, speed, endurance you got it all bruv.wheres this filmed man.

  • Thanks!

    Filmed it in California

  • mate u taking up boxing thats great, that training would of helped your punching power alot.i bet you can knock some motherfuckers out lol good bro

  • This is amazing

  • Hi Jason. My arm is nearly healed ( see previous post ) I did a chin up today =) My sprinting, up hill jogging and tummy workouts are really coming along. I hope to post a response video for you in a few months. I'm also joining a gymnastics group, so I hope to have a few flips and hand stands to show off as well ! Happy training all.

  • That's great man! Hopefully your arm is fully healed and don't over do it. Take some time and start slowly.

Can't wait to see your video, let me know when you upload it.

    Take cares bud!

  • hey jay.. do any contact sports?

  • I'm planning to do Amateur Boxing this year. Going to join a gym after my school cools off. I'm planning probably June or July somewhere in LA.

  • i love stuff like this

us work out at home people are just as well off as you gym people

  • Just as well off ? ..... Hahaha, better =)

  • U R DA MAN awesome video my man

  • Your video is pretty cool too. It has a lot of the things i was planning for my second one :)

    Happy training!

  • The flag and the 1 arm wheel rollout is just really insane.

  • Ninja Warrior Training!

  • Hell yea !

  • been workin out since you was 8?

your strength shows really well ;]

  • Wow, incredible body strength! Pretty impressive stuff. It's always cool to see people that can show off their strength in other ways that don't involve barbells. Keep it up, man!

  • wtf r u training for?

  • Thank you for all the support I have been getting with this video.

I'm planning to post another video in a month or two. I've increased a lot and have plenty of ideas to show everybody.

Thank you once again for the kind words.

  • You are a god. Thank you for your inspiration. I've torn a muscle in my forearm. so most upper body work is kaput. But cardio, tummy and flexibilty workouts going strong. I watch this video several times a week to remind me where i want to get to. Also the RYOUKO videos are an inspiration for like minded people. Thnx again Jason ! !

  • You are an inspiration! My 10 year olds new hero.

  • very nice

  • Crazy strength...congratulations!

  • That's frickin nuts!...very inspiring though. I think I'm gonna go workout now haha!

  • Great vid mate!

    Well done

  • My hat's off to you Jason! Nice vid!

  • Really good training! Try Parkour, you will like. Regards from Spain

  • There are just so many ways to workout

  • nice work, looks like fun!

  • hey zabinjay, do you also do weighted dips, deadlifts, and/or kettlebell stuff?

  • Yeah I do =]

I mix up various exercises and change up my routine every 6 weeks to incorporate variety. I don't do dips or deadlifts in every single program. But I rotate over new routines.

I did weighted dips this month, and I didn't lose any strength on it. The last time I did weighted dips was about 6 months ago, but I actually gained more strength on the dips since then. Even though I never worked on it specifically.

  • Variety is the key don't let your body adapt. Change routines about 4-6 weeks. Not too short that you won't reap the benefits and not to long to halt the benefits. =]

I don't do a lot of kettlebell stuff. Kettlebells are extremely expensive for my budget, but I have a 40lbs bell that I use to toss around to strengthen my grip.

If they were cheaper I would buy up to 100+ lbs or so but they aren't hehe.

  • I have nothing against them and would like to own more as I get older and get an actual career for variety purposes not because it's superior or anything. In the end kettlebell, barbell, sandbag dumbbell or bodyweight. It's all just weight.

  • good work zabinjay. a question about the ab wheels, i've seen ross' article on how to make them but i was wondering how and what you made yours out of?

  • Thanks! =]

It's pretty much the same thing. Lawnmower tires , hex bolt and 4 nuts. I wrapped my Hex bolt with cloth and duct tape it around for thickness.

  • 15 years, respect.

Do you remember how you started?

  • Yeah I only did 3 exercises.

Pushups, situps and there was this ab machine my parents bought. You sit down up right and use it like a weighted situp. But I was so weak at the time I used it for rows as a kid hehe.

Would do like 20 pushups 20 situps and 10 rows repeat 5x. =]

  • You do know their is a second ninja warrior challenge. Just wanted to tell before g4 misses out again. Good luck!

  • Thanks, Guess i'll go all out this time. Show'em everything I got =]

  • Dude, you're a beast! I love it ;-)

  • hey zabinjay, have you had any injuries when doing these kinds of exercises. like have you injured rotator cuff or anything

  • Nah, I have not been injured by doing any exercises.

But I did hurt myself doing other things non exercise related which lasted like a day. =o

The exercises I do actually helped my pain tolerance and strengthened my whole body. I don't get injured, but I do feel pain like another other person would hehe.

  • The only reason someone would get injured during exercise is bad form, to much weight, or the exercise they did was too advanced for their body to handle.

It's better to build a strong base before doing more advanced exercises. Such as One arm pullups. Make sure the ligaments are strong enough to handle that much pressure.

  • Do you do any stretches before working out?

  • Actually I don't stretch at all. After reading SuperStretch by Mel Siff. I no longer stretch. Stretching actually doesn't help with actual athletic movement but only passive stretching. Doing exercises are better for flexibility.

I do a small warm up that last between 2-5 minutes to get ready. Then I exercise. Nothing too tiring but enough to get me warmed up.

  • Hello

I have just purchased FCT, II and NG.

I will follow Ross's pattern of training. Lets see how it goes.

  • respect

  • When I think of how I want to train and the different concepts, this guy is already doing it. Its like viewing my own thoughts. This is amasing! good training.

  • whats the 1st song eh? and wo wur powerful!

  • Blink 182 - Stockholm Syndrome =]

  • sweet training =)

  • thats insane dude very impressive!!! how long have you been doing the ross training??

  • Only for 8 months.

But Ross doesn't like to say it's his training style because he didn't invent anything. He just passes on the information to others. =]

  • What's the name of the exercise you perform on 3:43.

    Awesome body control dude!!

  • Thanks =]

It has a lot of names think a couple of them are dragon flag and rocky 4. I just call it flag.

  • Quality vid man, congrats on the 1 arm rollouts and flag. Am I right saying you train Ross Enamait style?

  • Yes I do, and I go on the boards once in awhile =]

  • what about muscle strength(power/olympic lifts)? I curl 110 dumbells cheating, 90 correct for 5 reps.

  • I'm not sure I don't train for curls anymore hehe =]

But last I checked, I did 70lbs back on the bench, sitting down for reps beginning of this year.

  • I stopped isolation training and doing more compound/explosive movements and conditioning. I do Olympic lifts with a dumbbell but not a barbell because a dumbbell is easier to learn than the actual lift. Plus I don't know anyone to show me proper form in person. I enjoy unilateral movements for exercising as of lately.

I do barbells rarely to mix it up but I started to prefer dumbbells only this year. =]

  • That was insane. That park looks familiar, too. You from North OC?

  • I'm from Los Angeles.

The park is Liberty Park in Cerritos

  • that was awesome.period.

  • BEAST !

  • fair fucks 2 you man. that was savage

  • Great vid,you a have a lot of energy and strength. where are you from?

  • Thank you

I'm from California, exercise has always been my life. I've been exercising since I was 8 years old, and I'm currently 23.

  • Awesome stuff - excellent training vid! Keep training hard - cheers!

  • how many one arm pull ups can you do?

  • Only 1 for sure, I actually just started training for it recently...aiming for 10 reps

  • Just tried it just now, I can do 2 on my left and right.

  • 15 years man that makes me sad as shit ill be 30 then god damn it

  • Two Finger pull ups are Crazy. Great Vid

  • Great video man. How much was that dip machine?

  • Thanks! =]

    it was 100 + tax

  • wow nice stuff, im sure with that all round natural strengh you'll do great in boxing if you put the time in to it..

How many normal clap push ups can you do? with a normal clap in front of you, cheers.

  • Thanks for the compliment! =]

Actually I never tried, but I would guess probably around 20-30 because clap pushups tires my arms out hehe.

  • The focus with clap pushups are more for explosive strength and not strength endurance. The reason is because when you push up, it's supposed to be has hard as you can. And of course pushing as hard as you can and then clapping will tire you out faster than normal pushups would. =]

  • nice man whats the best way 2 get yr shoulders ,arms an chest at the same time apart from push ups

  • nice exercises but please control the form of your abwheel rollouts and dragonflags. your lower back must be screaming.

  • I don't feel anything on my lower back when I do those....I just have a really skinny waist and a big butt. =o

  • Awesome stuff, man!

Fifteen years.. I've only got five continuous months under my belt so far, but I aim to get to this level someday. Rosstraining saved my life.

  • Very nice! Inspiring stuff.

  • good stuff!

  • Do you box Zabinjay??
