    notice how the air filter is wide open and there is not tube going to the intake. the noisea you hear is tire whine.

    notice when you here the whine noise it is right after he lets off the throttle at the end of the pull. clutch is in, tires are still spinning on the dyno.

    That's the sound of the dyno. They can sound like the high pitched whine of a roots-type supercharger, but it's the drum of the dyno.

    pfff, just did the same thing yesterday morning with my vr6 :P

  • Golf Vr6 engines are 2.8 liter, the Vr6 from a Corrado is 2.9 liter. If you wanna tune it by putting a Turbo or Compressor on it, go for a 2.8, because the walls are too thin in a 2.9 to handle it.

  • reasearch more.The 2.8 came in all NA vws corrados, golfs,jettas and passats.The 2.9 was only in europe.And you can bore a 2.8 to 2.9 and still use FI.Look at my vids my buddy has a rado with a 2.9 turbo setup n he has no problems.

  • Yeah well, Im from Denmark.. Still you're not right. The 2.8 IS more solid than the 2.9 , simply because of the thin walls. And yes I know some make their VR6 a 3.0, but your rarely see those with turbos. For a reason.. Its a nice engine the VR though.

    sorry man.I have to disagree again.I know of at least 3 2.9 vr6ts.Of course thicker cylinder walls will be stronger but boring to 2.9l will not give you dangerously thin walls period.Ive seen a 2.8 and a 2.9 block.And believe me a nation known performance garage wouldnt have recommended that my friend bore his motor to a 2.9 while he got a turbo kit installed if it was a bad idea?

    Hell yeah man just buy some pistons and arp hardware and you have a vr6 that can go to 500+ hp vr6 ftw
