Every time I watch this video I feel your heart. Dan you are awesome. I have decided to do the fasting for 8 days just to jump start my detoxing and I just purchased a juicer. I am so excited; I will begin the journey to a healthier way of living on the 9th day of my healthier living life-style with juicing. I am no longer eating processed foods or meats. I last weighed in at 289 lbs.; congestive heart failure, high blood pressure and diabetes have plagued my life for far too long. No More!

dan, why fast so much? are you addicted to fasting? once a year should suffice. your energy level is all time low, and for the majority of the people that have jobs and move around all day cannot do this fast and function properly. i never understood this fasting.

Have you thought about living completely without food? Some don't understand this perspective, but since you did so well with the water fast, I thought maybe it sounded like something you may enjoy looking into... If you haven't already... Some may say I sound loony for even saying, but I don't care I get that a lot already for my ideas... They go under different labels, one is bretharian, but I personally don't like labels. They are to limiting and constricting... :)
@gymgymgymgym Labels are a bit limiting, but currently under the structure of reality that we are in, it is a way of communicating what something is... It does however (every label) hold a certain description of what said label is. To me that doesn't leave room for it to be anything else. No, I am not a bretharian. I do however understand the concept and how this could be possible. I would see it as needing to be at a higher level of consciousness for a person to obtain that way of living. ;)

Yeah, my recommendation is to keep going too, and don't stop for at least another week. When I did my 24 day water fast, it became a bit tricky towards the end, but I felt so much better afterwards :)

My friend works at that water fasting facility. He told me that Dan has had some problems with temper tantrums and violent outburst. One nurse was abused when Dan threw his own fecal matter at her. He was restrained all the while crying and fighting the staff. Time to stop this Dan.

I am sure a certain Mr Durian Rider would have something to say about this video - "Not enough Carbs mate". Does water fasting really have any benefits MEDICALLY? I can't think of any animal on the planet that would decide to cleanse itself on a water fast and Dan eats a pure diet so does he really need it? hey DAN, incase you haven't read it already.... it's time for "The Bhagavad Gita"... i listened to 30 mins of the audiobook last night and the absolute truth spoken in it put me in a meditative trance for an hour.
Why do we have to suffer so much? I have never heard/read a good answer to that question. If I was God the creator, maybe I would have done better Seriously :) Above all, I would create beings (especially me) that are much smarter and who would realize much faster when they are doing things that are hurting themselves/others In my opinion, animals are in general a much better creation. Yeah, my recommendation is to keep going too, and don't stop for at least another week. When I did my 24 day water fast, it became a bit tricky towards the end, but I felt so much better afterwards :)

My friend works at that water fasting facility. He told me that Dan has had some problems with temper tantrums and violent outburst. One nurse was abused when Dan threw his own fecal matter at her. He was restrained all the while crying and fighting the staff. Time to stop this Dan.

I am sure a certain Mr Durian Rider would have something to say about this video - "Not enough Carbs mate". Does water fasting really have any benefits MEDICALLY? I can't think of any animal on the planet that would decide to cleanse itself on a water fast and Dan eats a pure diet so does he really need it? I am uneducated on this matter so this is just questioning not opinion before anyone gets snappy. I am a DTM fan and water fasting just seems like unnecessary torture for the bloke.

water fasting only depends on how healthy you are. The healthier your diet is, the longer a person is able to fast.
A healthier person can water fast for longer periods of time without doing extreme damage to their body.
A sick and obese person coming directly from a junk food diet, if went on to a water fast, would lose muscle quicker than someone who is healthy.
That's why back in the old days, people like Jesus could water fast for 40 days.

Why do we have to suffer so much? I have never heard/read a good answer to that question. If I was God the creator, maybe I would have done better Seriously :) Above all, I would create beings (especially me) that are much smarter and who would realize much faster when they are doing things that are hurting themselves/others In my opinion, animals are in general a much better creation. That being said, nice vid. :)
